Suguro is also able to steal a bit of the spotlight here, and we even get to see the strengthening of bonds between the minor characters. It's all very compelling and action packed throughout. However, the volume ends on a downright strange and mildly frustrating element, with the climax of this carefully crafted arc being interrupted by a strange presence out of nowhere...
