Integrating Neuropsychological and Psychological Evaluations

This book documents the necessity for assessing both the neuropsychological and psychological status of the child as a means to both better understand his or her needs and better implement interventions. The authors detail the process of evaluating the child in the realms of cognition, executive functioning, language, learning, memory, and visual motor integration, the standard domains of a typical neuropsychological evaluation. They also describe the process of testing emotional and social functioning in depth, and then integrating these with all of the above domains to describe the impact on the child¿s functioning in the real world.
