About Weep for Osiris
Thomas Campbell, a journalist specializing in the investigations of high profile people within the political and business world, is assigned to investigate billionaire William Sinclair. Sinclair has begun an initiative for the private colonization of the Moon and other planets in the solar system and has worked with a group to put forth a resolution at the United Nations, to codify his proposal. Campbell, in his attempt to penetrate the extremely private world of Sinclair, begins to unravel puzzle, which includes the mysterious billionaire's devotion to Freemasonry, as well as his hugely ambitious goals for himself and his small group of private investors in an enormous project to make another planet habitable for Mankind. As Campbell pursues his normal lines of inquiry into the life of another man, he is shocked to eventually be invited by Sinclair into the inner circle, and is tasked by his subject, to write the story of what Sinclair believes will be his greatest accomplishment. Campbell has a front row seat as those who would prevent Sinclair from succeeding use every means to defeat his ideas; governments and other journalists join in the effort, as more of Sinclair's plans are slowly made public. And Campbell is able to document every event, even as Sinclair and his partners are able to succeed, transforming another planet into a world useable for Mankind, and claiming it as his personal property.
