He commenced his training contract as a solicitor with a firm in the City of London in 2005 and qualified in May 2007. He joined Bolt Burdon Kemp solicitors in 2011, where he is now a Partner and the Head of the military claims department. In 2015 he obtained his higher rights of audience as a Solicitor Advocate.
