A greyhound racing champion in Ireland, Midnight White suddenly loses her desire for competition when she begins to dream over and over about a mysterious, red-haired little girl. Since she isn't earning any prize money for her greedy owner, Midnight White is abandoned and becomes the pet of abused, neglected, and orphaned children living in a shelter. There, the greyhound meets the red-haired girl she had been dreaming about. When the future of the shelter is at stake, Midnight White suddenly regains her passion for racing and wins a big race, thereby saving the shelter and, at the same time, getting revenge on her former owner.
