The story moves to SW Florida with extensive sailing to the Dry Tortugas and a side trip to Cuba. The story continues with the legal battle with the FBI, Homeland Security and even a Presidential Commission. Along the way there is sailing through storms, waves, and wind with an occasional twist. The continuing interaction between Captain Pete and the Federal Government makes this an enjoyable, yet totally believable read. The story is fiction and any reference to politicians currently in office is coincidental.

This story is a continuation of the story from Alone in the Gulf of Mexico. It begins in Illinois but rapidly moves to Florida and eventually to the Gulf of Mexico and Cozumel.
