"When there are peaceful people in the midst, the world becomes more peaceful. We must let it begin within ourselves. We can't make the whole world peaceful all at once, but we can begin to show them what we have learned. Everybody has been created differently by our loving Heavenly Father. We need all kinds of people to make our world function and bring hope to everyone no matter what their color, race, or cultural background. Even the terrible sinner has to have a place of hope. We have no right to condemn anyone, but we can set a good example for others to follow. We, who know the love of God, know the enemy comes in like a thief in the night to try to destroy hope, ruin families, and create division through racism, jealousy, and unequal opportunities to prosper." - Ignacio Beatriz Villanueva Rudecindo was born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. She studied philosophy and literature in La Universidad Autonoma de Santo Domingo and earned a master's degree in education from City College in New York City. Beatriz has two daughters, two beautiful grandchildren, and resides in Suffern, New York. This is her second book. Her first book, The Tears of the Caterpillars, was released in 2014 and shares the stories of two children and their families as they meet and influence each other in their journeys to realize their destinies. Hector and Laura, who came from two social environments, are victims of bullying in different ways. After the paths of these two disheartened children intertwine, both must decide whether to let their circumstances rule over them or rise above their challenges to overcome issues in their childhood. It addresses how to deal with problems such as identity crises, negative thoughts, internalized feelings of inferiority, and desperation.
Stop Being the Victim of What Others Say About You! The story you are about to read represents two families that suffer word violence in many of these various ways. We will trace their individual journeys until they meet and influence one another in their journeys toward their individual and corporate destinies. As you read their stories, you will learn how to get rid of the negative thoughts others may have inadvertently or purposely planted within your mind. You will also learn how to break free of the captivity imposed upon you through the words and actions of others. You will come to realize that the world is a mirror of your feelings, thoughts, desires, and interpretations. Every situation, relationship, and event is the mirror of something you have on the inside of you. You will come to see the connection between your inside and outside worlds and learn how to function as a victor instead of a victim, an overcomer instead of living in oppression, blessed instead of unfortunate, and powerful instead of powerless! -Beatriz Villanueva Rudecindo Author Bio: Beatriz Villanueva Rudecindo was born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.
