Originally published under the title, The Book of the Villiers Engine, by C. Grange. This re-print of the 1956 tenth edition has been updated with the inclusion of the 1959 supplement from the eleventh edition, the remainder of the engine type information being identical in all respects in both editions.

This re-print of the 1969 revised thirteenth edition was selected as being an important edition as it includes detailed information on the later Villiers engines including the 6F, 31C, 2L, 9E, 10E, 31, 32, 32A, 34A, 2T, 3T and the Siba Dynastart unit. Some of the more popular earlier units such as the 4F, 12D, 29C, 30C, 7E & 8E are also covered.
