Mrs. Kristina Hunt - what does she know and why is she on the run? That is what Detective Miller is attempting to discover. Kristina is the secretary and bookkeeper for a company that her husband is part owner. She is devoted to her husband and is dedicated to her work. She is a gentle person who enjoys photography, travel, and wildlife. Though plagued with diabetes since early childhood, she has learned to cope with her illness and uses her love of photography and travel as an escape. She and her husband, Danny, her boss, John Thomas, and his wife Sonya, travel to Sitka, Alaska for a week of relaxing, fishing, and sight-seeing. When they arrive at their destination, Kristina is bubbling over with excitement, anticipating a wonderful vacation filled with photography and romance. Because of her health conditions, she remains in Sitka while the other three embark on their fishing trip. However, her dream vacation soon turns direful when she accidentally uncovers a murder plot to kill John and herself. Fearing for her life, she flees Sitka and heads for home unaware that her killer is just two hours behind her determined to murder her no matter what the consequences. All the while, Detective Miller is frantically searching for her because she holds the key to a complicated murder for hire scheme.Meanwhile, Kristina is accused of being the actual mastermind of the murder plot and has pulled a double cross. Miller has to determine did she plan the murders and set up Sonya to take the fall. Is Kristi really the mastermind of a murder-for-hire conspiracy and is her flight part of her plan? Or is she innocent, being falsely accused, and in grave danger?
