Originally published in 1921, as part of the Cambridge Plain Texts series, this volume contains twenty pieces of prose writing by Italian critic and dramatist Gasparo Gozzi (1713-86). The pieces are all taken from the Gazzetta veneta, a bi-weekly commercial and literary paper created by Gozzi.
