This book is a compilation of details of the six walks in an area of North Staffordshire, outlined with directions and accompanied with hand-drawn maps and many photographs I have taken along the routes. Added to this, with each walk, is a series of internet research topics of interest that look at historical information related to the area of each walk. The book is the first part of a personal project that seeks to discover interesting facts about the county of Staffordshire while enjoying the health benefits of a pleasant scenic walk in the fresh country air.
