And on the other... : a handful of supernaturally talented individuals run everything; a conspiracy with global reach; withheld knowledge of advanced science; a plot to steal consciousness from us; alien visitors who have made a home for themselves; rewritten and falsified history; ancient creation myths are actually true These are Icke's themes. An attractive and mad collection of ideas, for sure. And yet there is something about them or concealed in them which is right for these days. What is it which makes Icke so impressive at the same time as his writing is - mostly - so improbable?
