This book follows the story of Jessie Larman, written simply, as she would speak to anyone, from her childhood days in Colchester, Essex at the end of the Second World War to her life now in Carnarvon, Western Australia. It was written as a record of Jessie's life mainly for her family members but it has a wider appeal because it opens a window onto a detailed social history into family life, their daily routines, attitudes and aspirations that would apply to many others. It relates how the family and Jessie survived and lived during the Second world War years and the years afterwards. emigration to Australia, plantation life in Carnarvod and life as it is today, There are many witty comments and descriptions of events, which make this book an interesting read. It tells how people from very poor backgrounds lived, worked and played years ago and how they worked hard to better their lot. It's an excellent social history record.

Jesus Loves Geoffrey Goanna was written for young children to read and understand about different creatures that come out of eggs to be Born into this world as they were originally ordained to be created. To show them that they did not evolve from another species. Also that they are made Male and Female to reproduce after their ownkind as it says in the Holy Bible. To let children know that everyone needs a Mummy and a Daddy to make a baby. Also to learn that whatever creature is born it will look like the Parents who came together to make them.i.e. a Goanna Egg cannot produce a Lizard or a Chicken or anything else only a Baby Goanna. Hope your child enjoys the story and drawings which I loved creating especially for my Grandchildren and other children throughout the world.
