John desires for readers to see God as a God to all races, where we are created in His image and resembling qualities of Jesus. He delves into the origins of the African heritage through the lineage of Noah''s sons, Ham and Shem, then tracing their ancestry further into people of Ethiopia, African Egyptians and those in Canaan, Israel. Being an African-American pastor himself, John wants all to see the African race is as important to God as other races.
