Three students from a western Pennsylvania school learned that scientists across the globe in Israel were using the type of Radio Frequency tags (RFID) their school used. Their curiosity led them to an amazing dialog with bat researchers and technology savants and, of course, adorable bats! Come find out more. All profits go to the Bat Conservation Fund.
Bats are in danger. They are dying faster then anyone anticipated. Kaitlyn and Kennedi wanted to find out why. They partnered with biology professor Dr. Cassandra Miller-Butterworth from Penn State Beaver. The book walks you through what they have learned (even the process of extracting DNA by agarose gel electrophoresis!) Help them raise awareness and funds. All profits go to Bat Conservation International.
