Being a Pastor is a big deal! It is supposed to be. Because it is, the devil takes great pleasure in trying to minimize our effectiveness. And he does a great deal of that work inside our own mind and spirit. The purpose of this book is to share some of our experiences in hopes that some of the problems we faced can help others in similar situations to know that they are not "the only ones". We also hope that church members may gain some insights into their pastor and the struggles he or she faces. The picture we hope we paint for you is that you are not the problem. The people of your church are not the problem. But the devil wants to use the people of your church to make you think you're the problem, so he can thwart whatever good God is doing through you. And God is using you. You are doing some good. You are making a difference. You are a real pastor. We hope and pray that you receive a blessing from the Lord through this work. Be on the lookout for our next book.
