Her childhood was spent in the New Mexico State University Library, the horse stables, and the hills between Las Cruces and the Organ Mountains. She met her husband, Gary, in a backpacking class and the two of them have backpacked and camped all over southern New Mexico and Arizona. These days Kelly enjoys writing and geocaching. She has published eight Cassidy Adventures and a standalone novel titled Geogirl. Kelly is also a frequent contributor to FTF Geocacher Magazine.
