The Asdell family history is recorded beginning with their departure from Antrim County, Ireland. Included is journal kept by Benoni Blackmore, brother of Sam Blackmore, detailing his time spent in gold and silver fields of California, Nevada, and Oregon in 1862. Additionaly are included family stories and antedotes.
