One Day I was preparing a message that I would minister at a men's fellowship meeting. I was studying on "How to hear from God". Three of the ways he speaks to us are in dreams, in visions, and in pictures. At one particular point while in meditation I imagined a picture of the Lord standing over a pool of water. The sun shone tremulously against his back, casting his silhouette upon the water. I assumed by his posture, that he was looking at his reflection on the water. Little did I realize, in that one still moment, the Lord saw his grandeur and splendor everywhere, at the same time, and for all times to come. In a poetic format, I've attempted to capture what he saw, and it gives me great pleasure to share it with you.

This collection is taken directly from the diaries of: T/10694528 Dvr N H Carter From the tail end of the North Africa campaign, through to the thick of the fighting at Monte Cassino, Norman travelled with 'Lady Luck, ' until he came face to face with a desperate enemy.
