Heaven on Earth is a unique perspective on the Holy Eucharist. We see here how the promise of our partaking of the divine Life arises in the religious history of humanity and culminates in the humanizing of the divine and the divinizing of the human. We consider the scientific account of the origin and nature of different kinds of life in the Universe. And it is in this context that we come to see that the progressive elevation of matter in the history of the Universe reaches its climax and consummation in the descent of the divine Life - a theophany most evident today in the celebration that was in ancient times described as the Discipline of the Secret.
