R. A. Finlayson was one of the most influential figures in the Free Church of Scotland in the twentieth century. As a preacher, conference speaker, editor of The Monthly Record and as Professor of Systematic Theology at the Free Church College, he exercised a fruitful ministry both within and beyond his own denomination.
