Traditional method is very labour and water consuming method. This study, by using primary data, analyse how much water and labour efficient the Direct seeded rice (DSR) technology is as compared to trans-planted rice (TPR) method.The study shows that net return in DSR technology is higher as compare to transplanted method.The subject matter has been presented in simple language ans is supported with latest data.This book will be helpful for not only policy makers and farmers but also for research workers for further research in this direction.
