Odin is the god of wisdom, poetry, death, divination, and magic. Son of Bor and the giantess Bestla, He is married to the Goddess Frigga, and is the All-Father of the Gods. He has over 150 names, each name is an expression of his mysterious persona. Known as the All-Father, but more important he is also the All-Orderer. Odin is often accompanied by two ravens, Huginn and Muninn, along with the wolves Geri and Freki. He rides into battle atop an eight-legged steed, Sleipnir, and wields the mighty spear Gungnir. Odin is the Runemaster, who discovered the runic nature of reality, and created the Elder Futhark. Odin is the wanderer, who travels across the face of Midgard and involves himself in the affairs of his children.
