This study examines Ps 95 and its use in Heb 3-4 and 10-12, showing that its narrative world and exhortation is key to the argument of Hebrews. The beginning and end of Hebrews are examined to show how they fit with this argument. The study is applied to the new covenant. An historical review shows how a "new" reading of Hebrews is in fact ancient.
