This is a reference book about the TV series Kolchak: The Night Stalker, starring Darren McGavin. It includes the 20 episodes that aired 1974-75 as well as the two made-for-TV pilot films. This book entitled Van Der Valk: The Series, is the first and only book to deal with all 32 episodes of the series which starred Barry Foster as Dutch Detective Commissaris Piet Van Der Valk. The were five separate series: 1972, 1973, 1977, 1991, and 1992. The series was filmed primarily in and aroud Amsterdam, Holland. Included in the book are numberous photos, compleye cast listings, original air dates, directorial credits and a synopsis of each episode.
