The idea of trial in the life of a believer as a stewardship responsibility is not something we hear much about. The author seeks to answer the following questions: How can the trials of a believer in Christ be treated as a stewardship? What if there is a lot more to the trial than we see on the surface? What if trials are in reality “disguised gifts” from the Father? What if trials are one of the avenues God uses to display His glory through the lives of His children? What if trials produce stewardship rewards for the believer who endures them faithfully? This book takes dead aim at trials as a stewardship and argues that when trials are managed as God’s property given to us, we find trials to be a blessing - not a blight! Tom Wright has served as lead pastor of Memorial Baptist Church in Columbus Ohio for over forty years. He is a graduate of Moody Bible Institute, Trinity College, and Baptist Bible Seminary. Hospital For Sinners is the culmination of nearly thirty years of planning and preparation. The idea was first conceived in the late 1970''s; thus, we have a storied history of the religious right and its components from 1979 to 2006. During this time period the supposedly light of the world has become darkened by sex-scandals, misappropriation of funds, and sundry other lewd behaviors. Our church leadership is in pursuit of money and power, while hiding behind a mask of self-righteousness and political associations. Does God want Christians to clothe themselves in sackcloth and ashes? No! Nor does He desire one to ride around in a Rolls-Royce either.Tom Wright was educated in the public schools of Lynchburg, Virginia. A true patriot, he received a bronze star in Vietnam, and after three years in the military, married the former Phoebe Murphy. They have three sons. Tom received his BS from Liberty University at age thirty and his MAR at Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary twenty years later. Tom did his doctoral work in Biblical Studies. He was licensed and commissioned as a prison chaplain in 1998 by Timberlake Baptist Church in Lynchburg, Virginia. He, along with a great volunteer staff, manages one of the largest prison ministries in Virginia that focuses entirely on ''incarcerated veterans.'' From speaking in churches and civic organizations to writing articles for the local newspaper, Tom doesn''t fail to keep himself busy. He specializes in teaching biblical principles and accountability--characteristics that are lacking in America today. He still makes himself available to speak for conferences, revivals, and various other groups, and he can be reached at: chaplainwright@yahoo.com.
