Books in the Continuum Biblical studies series

This work is a history of the United Society for the Propagation of the Gospel. The first half spans the mission to the Americans in the 18th century to the North China Mission in the late 19th century to today's programme in Bangladesh. The second half is a collection of essays on a wide theme.

The author suggests that in learning to understand our preferred pattern of spirituality we not only deepen our understanding of the gospels but also increase our sensitivity to the approaches of others.
