Der Band erforscht die dabei induzierten Kulturkontakte, die von asymmetrischen Machtverhaltnissen, Zwang und Gewalt gepragt waren, aber auch neue Erfahrungshorizonte eroeffneten, die bestehende Grenzziehungen auf den Prufstand stellten.

Anhand von Zeugenaussagen und Strafermittlungsakten des Bundesarchivs Ludwigsburg beleuchtet das Werk die Geschehnisse an der polnischen Anstalt Dziekanka, die ab 1939 in Tiegenhof umbenannt und zunehmend zu einer Toetungsanstalt umfunktioniert wurde. So wird ausserdem ein Schlaglicht auf die Anfange der nationalsozialistischen Euthanasie geworfen.

The term "extreme right" is frequently employed in political discourse, in the media, and in academic debates. This volume presents a broad range of movements, political parties and persons, all of them representing positions and continuities within the framework of the extreme right, ranging from the end of the First World War to the 21st century.

The present volume deals with the expansion of the Nordic ideology in the first half of the twentieth century. Common features of voelkisch Nordicism derived from the field of conventional nationalism. Beyond that, it constituted a mythological counter narrative that combined the idea of spiritual kinship with biological lineage.
