Due to the difficulty to find a job in his city, Goran chooses the type of career that changed his life. He started to work on a cruise ship in the hospitality industry in 2013. He has three contracts in three different cruise ships. He considers this experience the most difficult but also the most valuable that life has taught him.Working on a vessel requires huge sacrifices like being miles away for more than half a year from family and friends, working with different nationalities and cultures, brutally heavy pace of minimal ten working hours every day and often even more without normal sleeping hours but on the other hand a piece of relaxation that makes it very special such as travelling to various attractive world tourist destinations and creating unforgettable friendships and adventures.Because of his soccer dream, he left the cruiser in 2016 together with Elizabeth from Peru (back then his girlfriend, today his wife) and since 2017 they live in Munich, Germany. From the first day spent on the ship, during all the rich experiences and adventures until the last disembarkation, through magical Peru and a special proposal on the beautiful Machu Picchu to the current life in Germany, he continues to explore new places and shares his soccer passion.Ship life inspired him to write this book and motivate people in achieving their biggest goals because he strongly believes that everything is possible if the person really wants it.

In Tokyo Tempos, award-winning mystery writer Michael Pronko explores the mystery of everyday Tokyo life. Drawing on three decades of living, writing, and teaching in Japan, he delves into Tokyo's dynamism to show what it's like living with Japanese food, seasons, ceremonies, and special moments he calls "small intensities."These pithy, pointed writings reveal how even massive cities like Tokyo live and breathe with the loves, hopes, pleasures, and meanings of the people who live there. These personal and philosophical explorations, part travelogue and part analysis, paint a vivid portrait of the city rich with curiosity and insight. Join Pronko on his journey into the contradictions, intricacies, and enigmas of Tokyo, a city that is old and new, immense and intimate, indifferent and yet very humane. It's glorious." Fifty years ago, when the longest and most unpopular war in American history finally ended, Saigon, the capital of South Vietnam, was left traumatised by the conflict and cut off from the world. Boatloads of Vietnamese, fearing their future under the rule of the Communist party, took their chances on the seas, never imagining they would ever wish to return. However, for the last three decades overseas Vietnamese of all ages have been flocking back to what has become one of the fastest growing cities in Southeast Asia (home to over 10 million people). They're not alone. Today Ho Chi Minh City, renamed in 1976 in honour of Vietnam's founding father, is a pulsating, multicultural hub that is welcoming the world. While the powering economy and vibrant start-up culture are undoubtedly part of the attraction for Generations X, Y and Z, you can still find oodles of ' old Saigon' flavour. The city's age-old hospitality, glorious food offerings, fun-loving social scene, and the seductive Saigonese way of life win everyone over. The city's timeless charm endures and its residents' love of life prevails. These poignant essays are a reminder that the time to go to it, and fall for it, is now.
