When Jennifried McNeal semi-retired, she looked forward to spending more time with her grown children and their families. Instead, it appeared as if she would see them less. In Amy's Real Life, she shares the story of her daughter, Amy; Amy's husband, Dillon; and the couple's two middle-school-aged sons as they faced the joys and challenges of a three year, overseas assignment in Japan. Culled from the journal McNeal kept before and during the move and throughout their international stay, she narrates the sometimes funny and sometimes emotional adventures as they learned about the culture, language, and even transportation. This story includes many of the family's life experiences in the United States as well as of the Japanese people who treated them with generosity and kindness. Offering insights into one family's life adapting to a new country during a worldwide pandemic, Amy's Real Life tells how God's hand guided them throughout.

At a young age, we're taught, that conditions in life decide how we should feel: satisfied or unsatisfied, happy or sad, or even angry. We're conditioned to meet the expectations of others regarding how things should be or what we should do, think, and feel. When others are happy with us or do things that are pleasing, our emotional thermostat rises, and we feel good. When life doesn't go according to expectations or someone is displeased with us, our emotional thermostat goes down. Th roughout time, we can lose our sense of self, who we are, and our happiness. In Zen Life Balance, author Darlene Alisa helps you feel a sense of internal peace, wherever you are in your life, regardless of the conditions or what anybody else thinks, says, or does. It's about giving yourself permission to feel as good as you're able in the current moment and not wait for others or outside conditions to change and adjust your emotional thermostat for you. Zen Life Balance is about looking for even the smallest reason to feel good, everywhere you go, no matter where you are in life. It's about connecting with the best part of you every day and remembering that your happiness is up to you. Ultimately, you're the one in control of how you want to feel.

First Encounter with a Duppy is the first in a series of children's books titled Memories of Poppy's Childhood in Rural Jamaica. It is the real story, as Vincent remembers it, of the occasion when he and his older sister encountered a duppy when they were sent on an errand by their mother. Vincent was 8 years old at the time and his sister was 12. Duppy is the Jamaican Patois word for ghost or spirit. It is of African origin and common in folklore throughout the Caribbean. Duppies are generally malicious and said to haunt people, mostly at dusk or nighttime, and many people attest to having seen them. A duppy can appear as a human form or an animal form. If it takes on a human form, it is usually of someone who is deceased.

A-Z Spirituality is a children's book that introduces spiritual concepts and ideals through illustrations. This book uses visual concepts to explore and introduce new words and to develop a relationship with the new spiritual concepts. I am an energy worker and have been working with adults on how to find and understand their true self.. I continue my work in this book with the goal to reach as many souls at a younger age and allow them to discover their true selves and to set them on their life path. In my work I see, as we age, the quest to be someone or do something of purpose in life. These feelings can push us down a path of self-exploration and with this book I am seeking the opportunity to guide children as early as possible through this process by exposing them to these Spirituality concepts and ideals and to unleash the power within themselves.

Mother Earth's health crisis is no secret. What Awaits Us... does not shy from the truth about Earth's decline. Instead, through a truly enchanting tale, it expands our understanding of our enormous global challenge, and lays out a solution that every person on the planet can adopt. In astonishing and touching encounters, Nature's precious representatives telepathically deliver urgent messages that humankind's inhumanity is at the root of Earth's failing health. We discover from these sagacious creatures that the negative energy created from our thoughts, words, and deeds is even more destructive to the planet than is our material pollution. Although the messages funneled through this story are heartbreaking, hope is inspired when a diverse group of characters, including wildlife, amiable humans, deceased ancestors, and Those Who Came Before, collaborate in developing a plan to restore Earth's health. Through simple steps, The Plan, which is a transformative opportunity, teaches us how to release our negative tendencies. The Plan easily fits into our daily lives, and as we make positive changes, the Earth's health rapidly improves. By participating in The Plan, you will profoundly help the planet while also healing yourself.

  • by Dev Dutt
    £9.49

Manifestation is a state of a more powerful flow, a state only achieved by raising your awareness and discovering your inner self. You manifest what you are. In A Journey into Spiritual Manifestation, author Dev Dutt approaches this topic from a nuanced and integrative perspective. Not only does he show you the true prism through which manifestation must be viewed, but he also shows you exactly how you can build the structure on which it rests. Drawing from, and combining, some amazing practices from different parts of the world, it is like a treasure map, a lighthouse, a guide for anyone who is serious about this extraordinary gift. Using a systematic method, Dutt discusses that manifestation is not a goal you chase. It's a state of energy, a state of higher flow, with which you need to align yourself. Before you can manifest your dreams, your body, mind, and spirit have to be capable of aligning with the vision you wish to bring into your life. You must tune your body and raise your consciousness, awareness, and receptivity.
