Center on Contemporary Art (CoCA) presents the group show, (Where) Do We Belong? Co-curated by CoCA and La Sala, this exhibit shares the realities and challenges surrounding immigration and includes artworks that are a response to Trump's "Zero-Tolerance Immigration Policies"-amplifying diverse artistic voices with direct experience. Featuring Artwork by Hiba Jameel, Tatiana Garmendia, Humaira Abid, Judy Shintani, Jake Prendez, Hawo Ali, and Rohena Alam Khan, along with a performance of "Marias" by Milvia Berenice Pacheco Slavatierra, and poetry by J.A. Deal Cruz-Smith and Maiah A Merino. With an essay by Rohena Alam Khan.

Feins' interdisciplinary background is evident in the poems, which focus on southern France and a family history spanning three-generations, from Old World to New. Feins holds degrees in Social Science and Marine Ecology in addition to her MFA. Many of the poems focus on visual art and the book includes several collages based on the Old-World masterpieces that the poet traveled to see in France. Feins' poems have appeared in Antioch Review, Gettysburg Review among many others and for almost 25 years, she has co-edited one of the first electronic poetry journals, Switched on Gutenberg.

Includes essays by Joseph Roberts, Ed McCormack, and David Francis, as well as a transcript of a public artist discussion moderated by Joseph Roberts on March 15, 2016 at the gallery.

Center on Contemporary Art publisher Ray C. Freeman III invited artists to explore the world of Augmented Reality by creating artworks for this technology-enhanced book. 18 pieces were selected by jurors David Francis and Joe Roberts, and were presented at a Grand Opening and Book Release Party at CoCA's gallery on May 12, 2016.
