The world has so commercialized our Christian holidays that it is easy to lose sight of their true meaning and not realize the subtle shifting of our focus away from Jesus and onto stuff. The Blessed Bunny is a story about a real bunny that was taken from a pet shop and put for sale in a store alongside many other Easter sale items such as baskets, candy, eggs, toys, and more, which the bunny does not understand the purpose for. But when a mom buys the bunny for her little girl, he hears the clerk refer to him as an Easter bunny, which leads him to believe that all the fun things he observed from his cage are what Easter is all about. He then is taken away and ends up at an outside church service where he hears a pastor preaching about a man named Jesus Who came to save people from their sins. As he listens to the sermon, he begins to understand the true meaning of Easter. This story is an attempt to re-center the focus of Easter back on Jesus Christ, being born again, and making the decision to follow Him as we ask Him into our hearts.

As a college student, he was blessed to become a student intern in the Information Technology (IT) department where he continued to increase his computer skills as a part-time computer lab assistant and a computer troubleshooter. These roles pushed his skilled to a brand-new level. "After the internship was over, I followed my instructor everywhere he went so I could learn everything I could. I even stayed after hours to glean from his knowledge." His instructor told him that he had never met anyone like him before. Someone who was hungry for knowledge.  After graduating with a degree in computer science, he was offered a part-time job in the IT department. That job later became full-time.  As a contributing co-author to Raising Frankie, he visited his parents twice a week to proofread and suggest any changes he felt were necessary. They wanted to make sure he was comfortable with every line before it went to publication. Since he has embraced the book, the three of us hope readers will share its content to assist anyone they know who is or have dealt with ADHD.

This book is to encourage and let children from every walk of life that God has nothing but love for them. He always is watching and calling to them to build a relationship with him. His love and comfort are the most important things in this world that never change. Mr. Peek-A-Boo is a character I drew in my late teen years to get me through a lot of tough times. When I found God, it was as if he was my Mr. Peek-A-Boo. He was always with me and always watching over and protecting me in everything.

Skipp heard the squeak and strain of the taut rope as it pulled on the pier holding the forty-foot schooner wobbling in the Santa Cruz Harbor. He had just finished sanding a ten-foot section of wooden rail, and he was dipping the hog's hair brush into the varnish when he heard the sound of a young woman's voice calling his name.He had dreamed about meeting a beautiful woman in such a place. "e;So you live on a boat,"e; she said. "e;Oh, we have got to see that."e;Varnish doesn't pine, so he kept his brush moving along the boat rail. Something in her voice reminded him of his Missouri farm girl cousins."e;Open the hatch, go on down, and look around if you want,"e; he told her. "e;Let me get the lid on this varnish and clean the brush, and then we can talk."e;This story began with his audacious mother, a hard-drinking Arkansas farm girl. She fled her second marriage, and she took Skipp with her to Kentucky. Skipp and Lola's story emerge as they travel throughout the Midwest United States, and he changed from a Missouri farm boy to a "e;surfer- wannabe"e; on the Florida east coast.Conflicted, the surfer man-child traveled between the east and west coasts, unsettled, looking for the right reasons to stay. Unbeknownst to him, both he and his mother were pursued by the Hound of heaven, and it wasn't until he acted upon his Bible reading that he made the connection that would lead him to the kingdom that could not be shaken.
