In the course of events, time is not always measured in years but more often in days and moments. Years fly by quickly while moments can seem endless and days interminable. White Dawn Rising, the third book in The Extraordinary Love Series brings to a close a chapter in the lives of Tom and Meg Phalen and their family, but only that: a chapter. The years of their lives since the beginning of A Tent For The Sun and continuing in My Tears My Only Bread, seem to have fled across an entire lifetime and for some of the characters actually did, but the love lives on in the minutes and days. In White Dawn Rising, Tom and Meg's little family faces perhaps the greatest challenges of all. They are forced to take leave of each other; to trust the waves of the ocean and the capriciousness of evil men; to hope against hope that all will end well for them, beyond survival into a new life where they can again live in peace. The love that has sustained and nurtured them through life and death again must stretch itself like a net beneath the tightrope they are forced to walk. At the end of their perilous journey, measured not in years but in moments and days, they can only hope to find themselves alive and whole with their dignity and integrity intact. White Dawn Rising is filled with days marked with lingering moments of tenderness and dark terrifying moments of pursuit and espionage, hilarious reprieve and heart-stopping turns and twists. The Extraordinary Love Series marks a tale of courage to the extreme and endurance beyond measure. The events that started the journey turn full circle to place the Phalens on the brink of mighty and heart-wrenching changes. In the final chapters, White Dawn Rising moves beyond the romance of the early years, past the raw survival of the great hunger and into the final stretch to bring Tom and Meg and their children into a place of justice and redemption one wrong step, one fateful turn, one gloriously hopeful moment at a time.
The love of a story is the lifeblood of a culture. The Irish, so enamored by stories, will live and relive moments and even seconds because to forget just one instance of life is to lose what is most essential. Details, events, even facts are given less importance than the essence of a tale. Bards and poets are more readily believed and more highly esteemed than those whose governance dictates the limits and mores of life. We believe the story because we understand it. We believe the storytellers because we know it is their story as well as ours. We want the story to continue. We need to hold close to our hearts the memory, the substance of the sun so that in the gray mist of the cloud we can still believe the horizon is there. A cloud has settled over Ireland in My Tears My Only Bread. The years of 1845-1850 are etched in the hearts of the Irish like a bare branch against the moon. The family we met in A Tent For The Sun enters into this cloud; unsuspecting, unknowing and filled with hope that somehow they will be spared. Tom and Meg Phalen and their children continue the story based on the life of the author's maternal ancestors, Irish peasant Michael Maloney and the aristocratic Margaret Webb. My Tears My Only Bread is the second book in the series to tell their story, to carry their voice into our time and to bear witness to their truth and the essence of their lives. Like A Tent For The Sun, My Tears My Only Bread is a universal story. Characters, good and evil, sober and hilariously funny, fill the pages. Deep love, courage, faith and fearless daring will carry these characters through adventure, intrigue and heartbreak to the end.

NASA research of earth-moon mechanics of late astrophysicist Robert Newton leads Russian mathematicians to a breakthrough in the chronology of the world history that crowns 30 years of meticulous and extensive research. This research was actually an anecdotical byproduct of Russian-American competition in Moon exploration.'The The issue with Chronology' is the first volume in "History: Fiction or Science?" e-series, the fundamental oeuvre that exposes and expounds the numerous in-veracities of the traditional version of history. The E-series "History: Fiction or Science?" contains data and conclusions that aren't anything short of revolutionary. The alternatives offered to classical history are stunning, unorthodox to the extent of being labeled heretical by virtually every scholar of history. In "The Issue with Chronology" we are reminded of when the contemporary chronological scale was created and by whom, with the culprits named as the XVI-XVII century clergy that was in charge of all matters historical in that age. We also learn that the consensual model of history had prominent critics ever since its creation - among them such names as Sir Isaac Newton and Jean Hardouin, chief librarian of Louis XIV, the Sun King of France and collector of Louvre museum. The author dissects every historical age and analyzed the data from every source imaginable - Roman and Egyptian chronology take a good beating, and it goes rapidly downhill from there. Poggio Bracciolini and Petrarch take the blame for creating the legend of a mythical Classical age that never was.The Biblical events are moved a lot closer to us historically, as well as geographically (the Biblical Jerusalem being identified with the mediaeval Constantinople, for instance). The New and the Old Testament swap their positions on the chronological scale, both exposed as referring to mediaeval events. Our perception of history begins to change dramatically even before we're through with "The Issue with Chronology".On one hand, Dr. Fomenko et al call everybody, historians including, to apply the Occam's razor to the world history. On the other, the scientists Dr. Fomenko et al are ready to recognize their alleged mistakes of New Chronology theory, to repent and to retract if and only if: - radiocarbon dating methods or dendrochronology pass a rigorous anonymous 'black box' tests;- verifiable astronomic data refutes their results on solar eclipses;- it is proven irrefutably that Robert Newton (NASA astrophysicist) was wrong calling 'ancient' Ptolemy the greatest con man in history in his 'Crime of Claudius Ptolemy'; The radiocarbon dating labs run their very costly tests only if the sample to be dated is accompanied with an idea of age pronounced by historians on basis of...subjective..mmm...gutfeeling. Radiocarbon labs happily bill for their fiddling and fine-tuning with C14 hardware to get the dates 'to order' of historians. The first circular calibration curve was made by mid-fifties by Radiolab of Arizona Univesity with samples from 'Ancient' Egypt provided by the expedition of the same University. Circulus Vicious is perfect. Connect the dots!PS: Prescient Saint Augustine warned: 'be wary of mathematicians, particularly when they speak the truth!'. That's why Jesuits took over control of Chronology in XVI cy when it was a part of mathematics. Now the mathematicians take it back. The New Chronology theory based on exact sciences says that all events that took place allegedly over 1300 years ago, as well as real persons who took part in them, are simply unknown to us. Hey my name is Christopher 'CJ' Johnson; in this book I offer some of the basic things that beginner skateboarders need to master before they get to the tricks and the stunts. Always remember that safety comes first, this book offers the fundamentals, which is the best weapon to avoid accidents or injury while skateboarding. The journey started when I was about six years old and I first picked up a skateboard. I can still remember how it felt riding downhill near my house. While all of my other friends were off doing other things, I just found it exhilarating. When I wasn't skateboarding, I would watch professional skateboarders on television, like Tony Hawk, Terry Kennedy, and Rodney Mullen, and how much people loved them as they were whisked away from one part of the globe to another, all with just a skateboard in hand.I always wanted to be like them, to practice like them, to travel around the world and visit all the famous skateboard parks. My own professional skateboarding career started to truly blossom around the age of twelve with the guidance of the stars and their alternating methods. In fact, I think of myself as still learning every day, and embrace every second of my passion.Skateboarding takes practice and skill, and a tough body to handle the bumps and bruises along the way. It has taken me many years to learn and that's just touching the surface of what the greats have accomplished in their own lives.Skateboarding is my calling; a good method of exercise, and the best method of transportation available, as you don't have to wait around for public transportation or worry about the high expenses related to owning a car. All you do is pick up your skateboard and hit the road. It's a good stress relief, It's funny looking back, my mom always wanted to drive me to the places I needed to go that were a mile or two out of the way, but I refused the ride. I was too attached to my board. If I was upset about something that happened in my day I would skate around for a few hours and let myself calm down, or practice just as hard. I often spent countless days a week and sometimes even months, practicing one trick.Granted, it wasn't the only thing I engaged in. On top of skateboarding, I had a video-editing gig that helped to get me where I am today. Just me and my film crew of friends, who got passionate about it, the first time we watched video game clips on YouTube. Certain video streams always seemed to have a boatload of subscribers and they did every little thing you could imagine with the music, the characters, and even the voice-overs. I always got chills when I noticed how the music seemed to fit right in place with what the character on the screen was doing, and then the added special effects were edited in to give it a real bang. I mean it was just cool, the stuff these guys could do with a computer. So I picked up the job with all the enthusiasm I had in me. And still at the age of twelve, I made my own YouTube channel. I was eventually picked up by a very popular YouTuber and asked to do video manipulations for them. I became really good at it and not only the people who hired me for the task thought so, but also friends on my Xbox live account. Can you imagine just how cool it is to have someone send you a message or ask you in the middle of a game, "Hey, aren't you CJ . . . the one who edited that video?" It felt great to be recognized, like I was suddenly becoming my own celebrity. I loved the recognition, my subscribers also loved that I was always around for them to talk to.However, I was forced to abandon my YouTube account when personal issues came up.It was a wonderful experience for me as it helped me become a huge hit-not just in the gaming phase, but also in real life skating and the videos that came of it. I look forward to many more wonderful opportunities that life has to offer now that I'm officially an adult!
Not many novels have Margaret Thatcher as a hero. Here is one of them.Margaret Thatcher, Ronald Reagan, Tory-Boy Satanists, insane anti-American scientists, an army of hungry Lizards-from-beyond-the-Void. An asteroid impact.Yes, it's the University of York in 1981 - though not as anyone now alive remembers it!Edward Parker is a right-wing hypochondriac with a weight problem. Falling asleep one night as an ageing and ever-so-slightly failed barrister, he wakes in his youthful body, back in those moderately golden days of yore. It's a dream. It's surely a dream. In great things and in little, everything seems at first exactly as it had been.Only it isn't.As the dream unfolds, and shows no appearance of ending, deviation after deviation from the remembered past accumulate, and settle into the appearance of a coherent narrative. But where is this taking young Edward Parker? What is his old "friend" Michael Clarvin up to? Where have all his real friends gone? Who is "The Undertaker"? What horror lurks beneath the Temple of Isis being uncovered near the Main Library? Why is Professor Fairburn so desperate to lay hands on its power? What does he eat?And can Margaret Thatcher become all-powerful?If you were there, take this as the ultimate Walk Down Memory Lane. If you weren't, probably be grateful....Praise for Other Novels by Sean Gabb, (writing as Richard Blake): "Fascinating to read, very well written, an intriguing plot and I enjoyed it very much." (Derek Jacobi, star of I Claudius and Gladiator)"Vivid characters, devious plotting and buckets of gore are enhanced by his unfamiliar choice of period.... Nasty, fun and educational." (The Daily Telegraph) "He knows how to deliver a fast-paced story and his grasp of the period is impressively detailed." (The Mail on Sunday) "A rollicking and raunchy read . . . Anyone who enjoys their history with large dollops of action, sex, intrigue and, above all, fun will absolutely love this novel." (Historical Novels) "It would be hard to over-praise this extraordinary series, a near-perfect blend of historical detail and atmosphere with the plot of a conspiracy thriller, vivid characters, high philosophy and vulgar comedy." (The Morning Star) Sean Gabb is an historian, broadcaster and university lecturer. His other novels, written under the pen-name "Richard Blake," have been translated into Spanish, Italian, Greek, Slovak, Hungarian, Chinese and Indonesian. He lives in Kent with his wife and daughter.

Welcome to Sydon . At first glance it appears to be a clean and modern city where New Borns and Old souls live together in peace and acceptance but for those on the front line for the fight for true equality know better . New Borns have never been reincarnated, they are a fresh soul and have the ability to identify and communicate with reincarnated souls. Regardless of the language spoken or the form taken they can understand and be understood. This ability is lost as soon as they die. This one time life ability is why all New Borns spend their first life working for Relink a government run organisation that helps reincarnated souls be re-united with those they have lived with before . The first life is always the longest . New Borns are completely immune to disease and illness but are able to be killed in the usual way a human form allows. They will die of natural causes at the typical age of 130-140 years old . Holly Curry is a 22 year old New Born . She has no choice but to work for Relink and most people would consider her to be honest and hardworking but then again most people don't know Holly uses her first life ability as a black market spotter, working for the highest paying old souls to track down their past life enemies. What happens to them after she finds them is something she doesn't think about . Old souls are all reincarnated, they can take any human or animal form and are restricted by that form in both their life span and abilities . Although they are able to see each other they can only communicate if their form allows. Unfortunately an Old soul cannot pick the form of reincarnation and although they can remember every life they lived, over time memories are confused and fade. Very rarely, maybe once every two generations, an old soul is reincarnated in the same form for three consecutive lives, and on that third life they possess the ability to permanently remove a soul from circulation this is called finalisation . Tri souls, as they are known, are feared and revered. Untouchable god like creatures who usually use their finalisation ability for less than admirable purposes . Diana Fields is an Old Soul, Her current life form is that of an eagle, her quiet personality and wise mind suit this form and as a result she is well liked and highly respected amongst her friends . Everyone knows she values her privacy but no-one knows this is her third life as an eagle. No-one knows and no-one would believe, that as a Tri-soul Diana is very familiar with black market finalisations. The hatred of a common enemy brings these two opposing characters together and when one makes an unexpected sacrifice the other finds herself on an unfamiliar path to discovery
