The Lord wanted to test Abraham's love and faith, and told him to sacrifice his son Isaac (who was the child of promise). He did not doubt God or ask questions, rather he obediently took the child to Mount Moriah to sacrifice. Right there, at the point of sacrificing his son, the Lord stopped him and provided a lamb to use instead. The Lord did not only provide, but He also became certain of Abraham's trust and love for Him. What are we sacrificing today? Could God be testing our faith and love for Him? Could He have already made provisions available? This book explains it all using the writer's personal testimonies and journey with God.

I decided to purchase my ticket one day, so I sat in front of the computer to book a flight from Canada to Nigeria. Suddenly I felt intense weakness, as though life was being sucked out of me. I could not finish the transaction so I decided to go and lie down. I dragged myself to the couch; put my iPod earplugs in my ears, and started listening to the gospel songs playing. As I walked to the couch I said a short prayer, "Into thy hands, I commit my spirit. Lord Jesus, receive my soul". God hears our prayers!!! I fell asleep almost immediately. In my dream, I was on a table surrounded by some people. It was a weird room with candles, as an occult room. I could not see their faces but one of the people had a knife and was about to stab me.

Our world, like the human body, has different parts bringing their unique attributes together in one accord to function at its best." 'Our World In Metaphor Driven By the Truth' offers an in-depth and thought-provoking insight into the state of our world as a body, the dangers ahead and proposes solutions to help save our world by thoroughly overhauling, replacing and repairing all its damaged parts. An interesting metaphoric approach to trying to address these issues. The author poses this thought provoking question; "What would be the state of this body (our world) when those representing the hand and head decide to cripple the leg or delude themselves to think that they would benefit from weakening, confusing and subduing the leg? What would happen to the body when the leg fails in its duty not only to itself but, to the entire body and acts as inferior to the rest? Almost as if soliloquising, he answers the question pointing the reader deeper into realising and identifying the root cause of most of the issues that is ravaging our world. He said, "Both the inferior and superior in a body (a world) that cannot function without differences-a body that can only function based on respect for differences, complement, and collaboration-are guilty and responsible for all the evils of this world." He warns that, humanity has boxed itself into a tight and dangerous corner hence, it now looks in specific, wrong places for answers when, answers could be in the place least expected. Our World in Metaphors, is a thought provoking insight into our world today using metaphoric analogies to draw the reader into visualising the world we have now compared to the world we ought to have.
