OVER THE LAST CENTURY scientists have made tremendous strides in understanding the physical nature of the universe and the biochemical nature of life. I was formally a Federal Employee who was discriminated against by my employer. I filed a total of seven (7) EEO grievances against the Federal Government. When the administrative remedies failed, I filed suit in Federal Court. One of my cases made it all the way to the U.S. Supreme Court. I subsequently won all my cases that turned out to be one of the largest settlements in history. It took me five years to win all my cases. The 2000 Federal Census claims that there are over 146 million employed people in the U.S. and every 3 seconds one of them is discriminated against. I wanted to let these people know what happened to me, and if they are experiencing the same treatment, they have Civil Rights and can fight back. My CO-workers and even a Federal Judge told me that I should write a book. So I wrote a tell all book in detail on this very serious problem facing the employed people of this country. This book is a tell all book about what happened to me and how I fought back. The next book will explain just how I legally did it. It took me five years to win, but what I know today; I can help any employee in the United States do it in less than 2 years.

This is a story of true events. A dominating husband, and a woman driven to drinking by his dominating ways. She loves him, but doesn't like him. They have two boys, and she had one girl by her first husband. The girl mysteriously disappears. Grandma adopts her only child who is a boy. Later on the woman starts drinking very heavily, and becomes an alcoholic. He drinks with her but the alcohol never affected him. One day she didn't go in to work, and the husband went in for her. She managed a storage lot. He came home and later the police arrest her for murdering her husband. The county tried her, and the jury convicted her of murder, and sentenced her to prison.

The book portrays the thoughts, feelings and actions of Sally Hemings, a slave living in the household of Thomas Jefferson during her life at Jefferson’s plantation in Virginia and during her time living in Jefferson’s house in Paris. When she arrived in Paris at age 14 she found that French law made her a free person when she arrived and for as long as she lived in France. She then had to decide whether to remain in France as a free person and leave Jefferson or return to Virginia with Jefferson where she would again be his slave. The book explores the rational for her decision to return to Virginia with Jefferson where she bore 7 children fathered by him.

Thiana is the first book in a trilogy that spans the lives of three generations of strong women, the author's grandmother Calliope, the author's mother Thiana, and the author herself. Thiana depicts Calliope's and Thiana's struggles with life's adversities, and Thiana's courage and determination in forging a better life for herself and her family. The narrative begins around 1920 in a remote mountain village in the northwestern Greece called Avdela, and moves to Salonika and Romania, encompassing the events up to, during, and after Word War II, including the closing of the Iron Curtain. The book depicts picturesque settings in the northwestern Greece and the customs and language of the Macedonian people.

Relationships is one of the most important things in our lives. Taking time every day to appreciate our loved ones for all that they do helps us to connect as a family. For this reason I have written this book on how I am connected to my in-laws to the extent of calling them my sisters. It is all about love that has made me to accept them as they are, appreciate all they do, respect them and keep boundaries with unconditional love.
