Lord, When looks at the Second Coming from a Scriptural point of view, while examining the questions, objections and various views of the tribulation and the rapture. As the world draws nearer and nearer to the Second Coming, it is more important than ever that all Christians understand what the Bible says about this crucial doctrine. Our greatest hope lies not in theories or inferences but in undeniable facts left by our Lord in His holy word about:The seventh trumpet The great apostasy The restrainer The Antichrist The Seventy Weeks of Daniel The 144,000 servants With over twenty years of research and study of the end times, author John J. Cobb brings a special and unique approach to these areas. He has taught four verse-by-verse expositional classes on the book of Revelation. His passion for scriptural clarity in Eschatology has been the driving force behind Lord, When? Whether the information gathered is from him or other authors and experts in this area, Minister Cobb has taken great care to bring it all to bear against the backdrop of Holy Scripture--the final arbiter of all Christian Doctrine.
Many people will come in to our lives. They will leave out lives. And some people, some where down the line will come to stay in our lives forever. Though is there really such a thing as forever? For me, I have not found that forever friend, but when I do, I will be glad to let you know. These words are not just any old words or poems. They are the thoughts in which I think, the feelings in which I feel. This is the part of me in which I have kept hidden away from the rest of the world meaning people that do not understand others, such as my self. It is my heart. In the last 20 years of my life I have come to discover that everything revolves around one thing. Weather it is good, or bad. Happy or sad. Everything revolves around some kind of love. That is why "everything is love", to me. We all go through easy and hard times and in the end we always turn to the one thing we say we will never turn to or do again. And can you guess what that is? Love.
Notes of an Urban Amish, is deep, funny, sometimes irreverent, and never boring. Karsh has something he deeply needs to share, yet he writes with an ease and calm that belie any sense of urgency. For the reader it is a pleasant journey to a place they vaguely remember; a fragrance which suggests a poignant, forgotten, moment. In this work, Karsh is not so much a teacher, as a guide to a place of mystery, which he delights in sharing with any who will join him.

In December of 2011, during the worst national economic collapse since the 1930s, Las Vegas architect and business owner Craig Galati found his firm more than $800,000 in debt. To make matter worse, the company's founding partner had just resigned, the organization had used up all it's cash reserves, and there was next-to-no work in the pipeline. Although a partner in the firm, 51-year-old Galati had to this point enjoyed his role in business development, never needing to assume a leadership position. Racked by fear and self-doubt, Galati nevertheless stepped into the breach. Rather than hiding behind bankruptcy protection, he and his remaining partners vowed to pay off every creditor, rehire their furloughed workforce and turn the company around. With brutal honesty, a profound sense of obligation and a heartfelt desire to help others, Galati is not afraid to shine a light on his failures and successes as he worked around-the-clock to pull his firm back from the brink.
Unhappily ever after... Clint Eastwood once said, "All marriages are made in heaven, but so are thunder and lightning." This is especially true in Nigerian culture, where thunder and lightning rule many marriages. The shocking truth is that many Nigerian women in the United States experience domestic violence every day. Mostly unseen, unheard, and unknown, they exist in a kind of shadow world, holding very little hope of escape. Fifteen Nigerian American women were interviewed for this book. They did everything the way they were "supposed" to, including receiving good educations and marrying the "right" men. Once they moved to America, they should have been in heaven, yet because of the stress of acculturation, they often find themselves in a stormy situation of dependency and abuse, unable to break free. Secrets reveal the conflicted roles of these first-generation Nigerian women in Southern California who try to live the heaven of the American Dream but end up drawn back to the lightning and thunder of their roots.
Schoolteacher Olivia Dare Christian was murdered in her Hampton, Virginia apartment in 1981. Her killer left few clues and the murder went unsolved. Three decades later, in 2011, next-generation detective Randy Mayer re-opened Olivia's dusty cold case file and began unraveling the mystery. Mayer located a reluctant witness who was a teenager back in 1981. She recalled a suspicious man lurking outside Olivia's apartment the morning of the murder and provided a detailed description of the man. Detective Mayer then researched hundreds of old cases, hunting for a person who fit the description and used a similar MO. He identified a prime suspect, a Smithfield Foods employee, by then in his 60s, previously convicted of several brutal sexual assaults. Digging further, Mayer linked him to two other unsolved Hampton homicides. Was this man a serial killer? Mayer enlisted the help of FBI agent Liza Ludovico and special prosecutor Phil Figura. Could the team uncover enough evidence to bring Olivia's murderer to justice? Could the witness from 1981 identify him? And would a jury convict in a cold case based entirely on circumstantial evidence?
