The main character in this story is an architect and artist. Several visits to local carnivals, beginning when he was ten, lead him to a gypsy fortune teller, telling him about his future and his Destiny with the sea. While in college, he becomes best friends with his roommate, Nick, who remains a best friend into the future. They both end up getting property by the ocean on the SW coast of Mexico where they build their vacation houses. On one of their visits, little did they realize how an encounter with a stranger from the sea would change their lives forever.
THIS BOOK IS A COMPILATION OF MY THOUGHTS FOR A LIFE WELL LIVED WHICH I HOPE OTHERS WILL FIND HELPFUL IN THEIR LIVES, AND WILL SERVE AS A LEGACY FOR MY GRANDCHILDREN.
FOR ALMOST THREE DECADES, BEARD HAD A DIRECT ASSOCIATION WITH YOUNG BOYS THROUGH HIS INVOLVEMENT WITH OUTDOOR SUMMER WOODCRAFT CAMPS. FROM 1916-1938 HE STRUCTURED THE DAN BEARD OUTDOOR SCHOOL FOR BOYS, LATER CHANGED TO THE DAN BEARD CAMP, INC., ON LAKE TEEDYUSKUNG, NEAR HAWLEY, PENNSYLVANIA. My poems and short letters are all about my challenges in life, my sadness, happiness, family, friends, love of life but most of all "God" and his angels that he sent for me to protect, fight along side of me in my life and give me the encouragement, strength, health to fulfill his plans for me! Many of you have much of the same story as me but I just want to let you know there is happiness following the rainbow. Each time you get knocked down, dust yourself off, get back on your feet, one foot in front of the other and fight all your strength to move on, things will look brighter and you know you have not reached the end of the rainbow. May God Bless each and everyone on your journey that has been prepared for you....
Our minds are already equipped to adapt to any form of opposition which comes against us for survival. However, the hardest part is knowing how to adapt our minds to overcome for the purpose of achieving our goals, not just to survive. This book is about my maturity process on my journey to find purpose. Purpose in everything I do, and to make meaning out of all the mess and struggles. My intention is for the reader to find things in this book to which they can relate. Hopefully, value will be added to your journey from what I have shared.
This volume of The Dark Corners is not unlike the previous three. As with the others, you will find information here not found anywhere else. This volume is slightly different though, with much attention given to what I consider leftovers and loose ends. I have also addressed some additional aspects of the Lindbergh kidnapping in which many have expressed interest. This includes a chapter on the "spy" Jacob Nosovitsky and one on Violet Sharp, a topic that I have avoided-until now.
No matter how frightful, insignificant or full of loving wisdom the spirits may be, Spirit Watching is meant to help the reader experience the presence of other-worldly beings with far less fear and more intention. It begins as the author unravels her childhood fear of the supernatural. Accounts of the author's own encounters illustrate a journey through the entanglements of superstition, myth and dogma, overcoming fear one terrifying experience at a time. Eventually, she gives perception dominion over imagination and begins to witness the presence of supernatural beings in a repeatable, sensible practice. What she finds is surprising, profound and sometimes frightening. "If you want to see other dimensional entities - conquer fear, hone perception and practice. That's the recommendation in Spirit Watching." Espara First, Conquer Fear is the first of three parts in Spirit Watching, Learning to See Ghosts, Earth Spirits and Others. Personal stories of the author's most frightful encounters are woven into a progressive interpretation of events. She naively explores supernatural phenomenon with curiosity - allowing the unknown, trusting in a sense of Oneness. Ultimately, Espara presents a convincing case for accepting the presence of non-physical beings. Here is an invitation to share the discoveries, use the techniques, and see for yourself. Perhaps you will come to a different conclusion regarding ghosts, earth spirits and other trans-physical entities.
