Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) is a technology-enhanced learning process. MOOCs are low cost or free online courses available for anyone and everyone all over the world. Over the years we have seen information technology has been one of the key drivers for bringing education across globe. The idea started for MOOC with MIT open course ware project. However, it was realized that there are numerous things even under the open educational resource that are available online.India primarily uses buses for its short- and medium-distance passenger transportation. Buses have a distinct advantage over other forms of transportation due to their adaptability and accessibility to several villages and cities, which accounts for 90% of all passenger movement on roads, particularly buses. In Kerala, both the public and private sectors (via Kerala State Road Transport KSRTC) offer road transportation services. KSRTC has a monopoly on the regional public transportation system.
The Central Himalaya (Uttarakhand) is not only rich in its natural resources but also in its unique traditions and customs. There are many traditions which give the message of culture and nature conservation. It is the specialty of not only of the region but also of our Indian culture that there is a cultural and metaphysical objective behind every cultural activity. This region is one of the richest sources in terms of the occurrence of religious plants since ancient time. These plants contribute to religious ceremonies and are also important as food, fodder, medicine and environmental purification. The area is popularly known as "Land of god" or Devbhumi are keeping the high religious reverence on plants from Vedic age to modern age. Although, biological diversity of Himalaya is very rich, however, very little is known about the history of cultural and environmental significance of religious plants of this region. The information mentioned in book was gathered through different sources: review of sacred literature, study of sixteen ceremonies, interviews conducted during the season of particular ceremonies and questionnaire-based survey to verify these important religious plants.
The criminal investigation encompasses the full range of police powers, measures, and activities undertaken when there is reason to suspect the planning or committing of a crime or misdemeanor. Within the scope of the criminal investigation of financial crimes, analyses are conducted in instances where there are substantial indications of organized crime. The goal of the financial investigation is to gather evidence demonstrating the scope, amount, and actual value of the property acquired through criminal activity.

Micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) have a critical role to play in developing nations like India because of their potential to create jobs, improve income distribution, reduce poverty, increase exports of manufactured goods, and advance the rural economy. In addition to these contributions, MSMEs are regarded as an essential setting for women, particularly those living in rural regions, to participate actively in economic activity, not just as employees but, more crucially, as entrepreneurs.
Clayey soil having low shear strength and high compressibility cannot be used for sub grade as it's CBR value will not be in permissible standard. So it's needed to be modified when required to use for sub grade under pavements. To modify, stabilization or ground modification technique is required. In this regard we are making an attempt to modify the properties feasible to be used as sub grade material. Here we are using Fly ash as admixture to stabilize and improve the properties. Many attempts were made using fly ash, here we are attempting an study of fly ash stabilization under curing period as the fly ash is being used as an substitute of cement in concrete which gains strength with curing.
In this book, the author will present a theoretical and experimental study of the unique phenomenon of "vibroturbulization", which permitted to obtain advanced foam material, foam concrete, composite material, nanocomposites, ceramics and bioceramics under terrestrial conditions. The author, using the exceptional property of microgravity - isotropy and the bubbling process, created an advanced foam material, nanomaterial and a new form of anti-tumor chemotherapy drug in microgravity conditions. The method developed by the author for growing homogeneous single-crystal silicon in microgravity conditions by eliminating of the arising in microgravity non-gravitational convective processes, using the theoretically predicted use of the "vibroturbulization" process in microgravity conditions, permitted to potentially grow a homogeneous monocrystal of silicon, using the Czochralski method in microgravity conditions.
The search for new antibacterial agents directed towards novel targets became highly imperative. Mycobacterium tuberculosis (Mtb), causative organism of tuberculosis (TB), is a successful pathogen that overcomes the numerous challenges by the immune system of the host. In the last 40 years few drugs have been developed, while the drug resistance problem is increasing, there is thus a pressing need to develop new anti-TB drugs active against both the acute and chronic growth phases of the Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Hence an attempt was made in the present study to establish the structural, functional characterization of Mtb-MenF at molecular level using in silico techniques.

In India, several waste materials are produced by different manufacturing industries, thermal power plants, etc. From those industries, wastes are disposed of in the land causes a serious impact on the environment and human lives. Using those industrial waste by-products in the bricks may contribute to the preparation of green bricks, exhausting of natural resources, conservation of non- renewable resources, by using waste materials often cause cost reduction, energy-saving and few hazards in the environment, Also, continuous removal of topsoil, in producing conventional clay bricks, creates environmental problems. So, for reducing the pollution and cost of construction, improving the strength and properties of clay and fly ash bricks with waste materials like fly ash, quarry dust, lime, etc.The various waste materials used in the preparation of clay and fly ah bricks are respectively fly ash, glass powder, ceramic powder, lime powder, eggshell powder, quarry dust. These waste materials are used with increasing amounts in conventional burnt clay and fly ash bricks for producing green and innovative building material. An experimental study was undertaken on these green bricks.
Groundwater properties vary spatially and temporally with number of factors. Urbanization and agriculture activities have a lot of impacts on the groundwater quality. The present study focuses on the hydrochemistry of groundwater in Vijayawada of NTR district. The samples were collected from 20 bore wells during this project. The collected samples were tested for various water quality parameters such as to assess the quality of groundwater for determining its suitability for drinking purpose. Water samples collected from sampling points are tested for several physiochemical parameters pH, alkalinity, electrical conductivity (EC), total hardness (TH), calcium hardness (CaH), chlorides (Cl), sulphates (SO2), fluorides (F) and indirectly estimated parameters like total dissolved solids (TDS), magnesium hardness (MgH), carbonates plus bicarbonates (CO2 + HCO3) by adopting standard methods and compared with the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS). The water quality status was identified at those selected 20 locations of Vijayawada to know whether the ground water at those locations is suitable for drinking or not. The results of this study will be helpful in designing an effective strategy

About 0.5 million people in India die every year from causes that could have been prevented by organ transplants that were not available to them. Organ donation rates in India sit at 0.01 percent. Every nine minutes another person is added to the transplant waiting list. seventeen people die each day waiting for an organ transplant. Three lakh patients wait for organ donation in the country and the country's increase in donors has not kept pace with demand; experts say the country urgently needs to increase its deceased donation rate, and there should be greater awareness among ICU doctors and families on how one deceased donor can save several lives. We need more awareness, persuasion, and action plans from government bodies, NGOs, and different institutions working to save lives through organ donation.

This book investigates vegetable growers' risk perception, awareness of Good Agricultural Practices (GAP), determinants of their intentions and the applicability of Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) in Punjab, India and Nakuru, Kenya. Data from 200 randomly selected growers, predominantly male with marginal landholdings, face various risks including market, institutional, weather and production risks. Many were unaware of GAP standards and identified production costs, market access, training and government support as key determinants for GAP adoption. Behavioral intention to adopt GAP was influenced by attitude, subjective norms, and perceived behavioral control, with perceived risks significantly impacting this intention, particularly in Punjab. TPB proves highly applicable suggesting the need for training, Public Private Partnerships (PPP) in extension services, price premiums and government support to encourage GAP adoption.
