The world may be fast approaching the perfect storm, with the intersection of two major global trends. At a moment of historic transition, when the post-WWII and post-Cold War international order is eroding amid competing visions of world order and renewed geopolitical rivalries, the world is also in the early stages of an unprecedented technological transformation. It promises to be a period of exponential change, the second¿and far more disruptive¿chapter of the digital revolution that began with the Internet in the 1990s. Historically, technology usually races ahead of institutions, rules, and norms. The extraordinary magnitude of change at a time of global institutional fraying and disorder, however, portends a particularly dangerous gap in global governance impacting economies, societies, and the future of war.Substantially more technology-driven change will take place during the coming two decades than in the first ICT (information and communications technology)-based revolution, with profound social, economic, and geopolitical ramifications.

Protection of the power system and its large and small equipment is one of the most important tasks that must be done in the best way to ensure the stability, sustainability and constant activity of the system. This issue is especially important in the electric energy distribution system, which is the most extensive part in a large power system, Because, on the one hand, most errors occur in the distribution network, and on the other hand, its close relationship with electric energy consumers increases the necessity of its correct and continuous function. The correct function of the distribution network depends not only on its design accuracy, but also depends on the correct regulation of protective equipment, because the correct and timely regulation makes the faults in the distribution network quickly and accurately resolved and the quality of power supply improves.

The historical stigmatization and discrimination faced by transgender (TG) women and hijra individuals within the healthcare system might result in the internalization of stigma and prejudice. Moreover, it forbids them from disclosing their symptoms of COVID-19 infection and the ability to use public healthcare services. Given the heightened susceptibility of transgenders to a range of health issues encompassing physical, mental, social as well as psychological aspects, it is imperative to implement routine screening and prompt intervention to mitigate any concurrent conditions. Furthermore, ensuring the convenient availability of fundamental healthcare services, guaranteeing nutritional stability, and providing psychosocial assistance to TGs are vital in combating illnesses. Training health care providers to be proficient and empathetic in delivering primary health care services to TGs is crucial. Additionally, it is essential to implement measures that reduce discrimination in different settings. This can be achieved by raising awareness among the public through mass media and providing specialized training and sensitization programs for public, police and health care providers.

The present investigation on ¿Biology, varietal performance and management of lesser grain borer, Rhyzopertha dominica (Fab.) on wheat.¿ its for biology of R. dominica. Amongs the twenty five wheat varieties screened against R. dominica, the varieties GW-322 and GW-366 were found tolerant, while MACS-6274 and AKOW-4021 were recorded to be susceptible to this pest. The effectiveness of some grain protectants against lesser grain borer, R. dominica in stored wheat indicated that the grain treated with deltamethrin 2.8 EC @ 1 ml/lit. water and malathion 1 ml/lit. water were found to be most effective in minimizing damage of R. dominica than the rest of treatments. These treatments recorded minimum grain damage and weight loss. Among the plant origin treatments, neem leaf powder @ 25 g/ kg seeds performed better. The mixing of these chemical and botanical grain protectants with wheat grains did not cause any adverse effect on seed germination.

The ejector mode concept in rocket-based combined cycles presents an opportunity to derive thrust from atmospheric air, thereby diminishing fuel consumption and reducing overall rocket launch costs. This project concentrates on crafting a three-dimensional rocket nozzle featuring the ejector effect. The design involves a diverging section passing through a non-axisymmetric gate or clover on the outer perimeter, creating a void for air intake into the center of an annular rocket exhaust stream. The primary objective is to pinpoint the optimal design among three configurations with varying clover numbers (3, 4, and 5). Flow analyses, utilizing numerical simulations and a predefined Mach number distribution, were conducted, incorporating viscous simulations with the k-¿ turbulence model. Results reveal that the nozzle with 4 clovers outperforms those with 3 or 5 clovers, aligning closely with predefined outlet Mach numbers and demonstrating effectiveness.

This book describes three approaches for the security of web applications related to the current trends and threats imposed on web applications. The first method is multi-factor authentication by dynamic questions in web-based applications. This is a multi-level authentication strategy which is used to protect the accessibility of the server-side scripts by the unauthorized users. This method protects the web application as well as its users from a wide range of cross-site server scripts and attacks. Second method is session management on the server side. The server will prepare a script which will monitor the login user patterns. The server-side script is used to monitor the time. If the system detects any suspicious activity on the client side, the server-side script will get activated and prompt the users to go through another level of authentication check. The third method is a prevention mechanism for Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) attack. If the user visits a virus website, at this time, because the virus website cannot obtain the value of the third-party cookie, cannot hash this random number, it will be verified by the server and filtered out.

One of the most important systems in modern agriculture today is sustainable agriculture. In sustainable agriculture, the stability of performance in the long term with minimal impact on the environment is emphasized. The main goal of sustainable agriculture, which is a necessity for human life, is to reduce consumption inputs, increase the internal cycle of soil nutrients by reducing tillage and using biological fertilizers instead of chemical fertilizers in order to increase the yield of crops and produce more food. In order to have optimal growth, plants must have enough and balanced food available. Soil contains natural sources of nutrients for plants, but most of these resources are inaccessible to plants and every year only a small part of them is released through biological activities and chemical processes. Therefore, fertilizers should be added to the soil as food supplements.

This research work was aimed to avoid side effects of the drug by extended drug release approach. The naproxen pellets were prepared by extrusion-spheronization method and then these spheres were coated with release control polymer, ethyl cellulose and pH dependent polymer Eudragit L-100. The pre-compression parameters were evaluated by angle of repose, bulk density, tapped density, Carr¿s index and hausner¿s ratio. Then these pellets were compressed with extra-granular material to obtain pellet-based naproxen tablets. The prepared tablets were further coated with Opadry- II white using standard coating pan method. In- vitro drug release studies of the coated tablets were carried out in different dissolution media i.e., 0.1N HCl, phosphate buffers of pH 4.5, 6.8 and 7.5. The mechanism of drug release was found to follow Higuchi diffusion model. The drug release follows first order kinetics. The stability studies were conducted at accelerated storage conditions of 40°C±2°C/75%±5% RH for a period of 2 months.
