Rambutan, an important exotic fruit, indigenous to Southeast Asia, including Thailand, Malaysia, and Indonesia. It is a good source of vitamin C, calcium and provides fairly a good amount of niacin, iron, phosphorus, carbohydrate, protein, and fibre. The major problem in marketing of rambutan is shriveling and browning of spinterns and pericarp which makes them unattractive although the aril remains edible. After harvest, the visual appearance of rambutan will deteriorate rapidly within two or three days if left under ambient temperature. Browning due to high transpiration, high respiration rate and decay are the main causes for quality deterioration of rambutan. Even though rambutan has good demand and vast export potential, it is not a major commercial crop mainly because of its seasonal availability and short shelf life. Thus, suitable postharvest handling practices can enhance the shelf life of rambutan by preserving its nutritional quality and also extends the availability of fruits for domestic and distant markets.

This book places strong emphasis on the application and efficacy of Cognitive Restructuring (CR) and Study-Skill Training (SST) as therapeutic strategies in reducing test anxiety and performance anxiety. The book focuses on how Psychology as a subject has evolved as scientific discipline. The book provides useful information and applied knowledge on the missing link between theory and practice in Psychology. The book also demonstrates that, the main goal behind using Cognitive Restructuring Therapy (CRT) and Study-Skill Training (SST) is 'curing unreason by reason', a therapeutic method that can be called "Cognitive Reframing".
The colon is attracting interest as a site where poorly absorbed drug molecule may have an improved bioavailability. This region of the colon is recognized as having a somewhat less hostile environment with less diversity and intensity of activity than the stomach and small intestine. Additionally, the colon has a longer retention time and appears highly responsive to agents that enhance the absorption of poorly absorbed drugs. Apart from retarding or targeting dosage forms, a reliable colonic drug delivery could also be an important starting position for the colonic absorption of per orally applied, undigested, unchanged and fully active peptide drugs.
Coating Process Technology is in widespread use. Coating is necessary for modification or improvement of the substrate to make it more suitable. Several Industries are based on Coating Process Technology. Adhesive coating, Printing, Flexible Laminates are the few examples. The basic steps in continuous production of coated substrates are as follows. 1. Preparing the coating solution; 2. Unwinding the substrate roll; 3. Transporting / passing it through the coater; 4. Applying the coating from the coating solution; 5. Drying the coating; 6. Winding the final coated roll; 7. Converting the coated substrate to final size.
Safety in general is defined as ¿the absence of unintended harm to living creatures or inanimate objects¿ (Evans, 2004). Traffic safety is measured in terms of motor vehicle crashes. A crash is an unplanned event which results in either fatality, or injury or property damage. Of all the factors that contribute to a crash, speed is a major issue, as more than 31 percent of all fatal crashes involve speeding (NHTSA, 2007). The speedsafety relationship can be determined by knowing the effect of speed on the frequency and severity of crashes. The relationship between speed and frequency of crashes is much more complicated than that between speed and severity of crashes which is based on principle of physics. Many researchers have studied of these relationships, but there is a risk of validation of the results so obtained, as the data used for most of these studies was obtained from police reports, self reports, case-control studies etc which may be erroneous. As a result, there is a need to revisit these relationships using more accurate and reliable data, and to determine the consistency between police reported speed and actual travel speed.
Technical efficiency of an individual decision-making unit is defined in terms of the ratio of the observed output to the corresponding frontier output. There are two main competing paradigms for estimating the relative efficiency of individual decision making units (DMU); parametric and non-parametric. The parametric approach assumes a functional relationship between output and inputs and use statistical techniques to estimate the parameters of the function. The non-parametric approach, in contrast, contracts a linear piecewise function from empirical observations on inputs and output without assuming any a priori functional relationship between them. With non-parametric approach, data envelopment analysis (DEA) is used to eastimate technical efficiency of each decision making unit. This study only examined the tools and techniques of parametric approach. The parametric approach relies on a specific functional form and it can be sub-divided into deterministic and stochastic models.
The study dwelt on the potential of smallholder forests for the dual purpose of providing products for the farm household while contributing to climate change mitigation in Ghana using the Kranka, Baafi and Manso integrated mahogany forests of the Nkoranza South District as case study. It employed the use of both questionnaire sourced primary and literature review sourced secondary data. Both quantitative and qualitative methods were used in the data analysis. The study established that smallholder farmers earn less than GH¿200 a year, perceive climate change as change in rainfall pattern and increase in temperature, and are willing to manage and retain their farms for climate change mitigation longer if enabled with carbon credits. It also established that access to initial capital is main factor that could influence planting of smallholder forests for climate change, and serving carbon credits to smallholders would influence the management of their forests. The study recommends that smallholders should be provided financial assistance to enable them increase the establishment of smallholder forests and carbon credits to enable them manage the forests.

The study is an attempt towards developing a formulation of an anti-estrogen drug, which belongs to non-steroidal aromatase inhibitor and which has in-vitro dissolution profile similar to that of reference product. Our target is to develop a dosage form similar to reference product for generic drug application to abbreviated new drug application (ANDA). Immediate drug delivery is required to alter the pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of pharmacological active moieties by using physiological parameters inherent in the selected route of administration. It is also desirable to show rapid onset of action. In case of patient needing a quick action, conventional tablets are unable to release medicament rapidly. The drugs having long half-life and more bioavailability are beneficial for the formulation of immediate release dosage forms. Therefore, the present project involves the development of a formula for an orally administrable immediate release tablet of an anti-estrogen drug, letrozole which must be stable, bio-equivalent to reference listed drug product and has a reproducible and robust process of medication to prevent breast cancer relapse.
Data and Technology time has prompted gathering of volumes of data. This gathered data must be changed over to helpful structure for better basic leadership. In any college/higher organization there are volumes of understudy information like participation, marks and so forth. This information can be subjectively and quantitatively examined utilizing information mining procedures. Execution investigation assumes a vital job in higher Institutions and understudy imprint or evaluation is an imperative factor. College and specialized associations are confronting high challenge and their test is in breaking down their execution. The work centres around producing an understudy execution investigation framework based of DBScan and Grid based methodologies. The majority of the traditional grouping approaches work just with round-shape bunches, it needs to investigate different techniques to continuing grouping for groups with subjective shapes. Without the estimation of common separations, this work exhibits an elective technique to satisfy grouping of information with any shape and clamor significantly quicker and progressively effective.

Not many people know that Romania was one of the few countries that were fitted with submarines during the interwar period and the Second World War. During the great conflagrations that ravaged the whole Europe, the Romanians attended the naval campaign against the USSR not only on the Black Sea, but also under it. Three submarines - "Delfinul (The Dolphin)", "Rechinul (The Shark)" and "Marsuinul (The Porpoise)"- were filled with glory in the battles that went into the depths. With their ears open to the grenades exploding around them, the Romanian submariners were present on the coasts of Turkey, at the entrance to the Bosphorus, Sevastopol, Kerch and Yalta, but also at Batumi, currently Georgia. Romania was no longer allowed to hold such weapons. However, immediately after August 23, 1944, the three Romanian submarines were confiscated by the Soviets, who used them until the 1950s. Only "Delfinul (The Dolphin)" was returned in 1957, when our Communist authorities dismembered it.

A field experiment was conducted at Dr. PDKV, Akola during November 2017 to May 2018. The experiment was laid out in RBD with five treatments which includes four drip fertigation levels. The study indicated higher plant growth, more number of branches, higher number of fruits per plant and enhancement in the yield under all drip fertigation levels. Yield of brinjal was maximum in treatment of drip fertigation at 150 % RDF (T4) (557.10 q/ha) and found at par with treatment of drip fertigation at 125 % RDF (T3) (554.88 q/ha). It was seen that yield of brinjal in treatment T4 was found to be higher than that of treatment T3, which was statistically at par. But the advantage in treatment T3 was requirement of 25 % less amount of fertilizer. Considering requirement of less amount of fertilizer in treatment T3 than treatment T4; the treatment T3 may be suggested as a best treatment. Minimum yield of brinjal was found in treatment of traditional fertilization at 100 % RDF. Higher irrigation water use efficiency 7.33 q/ha-cm was found in treatment of drip fertigation at 150 % RDF (T4) followed by treatment of drip fertigation at 125 % RDF (T3).

Bipolar disorder (BPD) is a mood disorder that is characterized by periods of pathologic mood elevation (mania or hypomania). Many studies have proved that effective pharmacological treatment improves the quality of life in patients suffering with BPD. Various classes of antipsychotics and antiepileptics have been used in the treatment of BPD like sodium valproate (SVA), carbamazepine (CBZ), olanzapine (OLZ), risperidone etc. Despite the introduction of many new mood stabilizing medications and a continually advancing understanding of their individual strengths and weaknesses, selecting the best possible treatment for each individual patient remains a significant challenge for general practitioners and psychiatrists. Response and remission are key goals in the management of BPD, mania. There are very few literatures related to the direct head to head comparison of SVA and OLZ in bipolar affective disorder, mania and this book presents a new study. Therefore an attempt was made primarily to compare the efficacy of two mood stabilizers- SVA and OLZ using the Young Mania Rating Scale (YMRS) as the scale for assessment.
