Mobile Ad-hoc Network (MANET) is a dynamic network topology in which nodes move without restraint anytime and anywhere; it does not require centralized authorization. The purpose of this book is to provide many trust-based routing protocols but each has its own limitations. The primary goal of our book is to mitigate nodes performing various packet forwarding misbehaviors. Various parameters used for calculated trust which are control forward ratio, data forward ratio, intimacy and residual energy. Trust-based scheme is evaluated against the adversary model of the packet dropping attack. For Simulation result Network Simulator-2 tool (NS-2) is used and it improves performance in terms of packet delivery ratio (PDR).

This book is based on a study conducted to determine the impact of behavioral biases on the nature and extent of financing decisions made by financial managers. Six specific biases were explored: managerial overconfidence, managerial overoptimism, regret aversion, anchoring, mental accounting, and conservatism. The study population was drawn from financial managers of entities listed on the Nairobi Securities Exchange. Findings revealed that managers predisposed to overconfidence, anchoring, and mental accounting biases were more inclined towards debt and equity compared to internal capital, with equity being most preferred followed by debt and then internal sources of capital. However, those with an overoptimism bias ranked debt highest, followed by equity, with the lowest ranking for internal capital. On the other hand, managers with a predisposition towards regret aversion and conservatism biases highly ranked internal capital and debt compared to equity; internal capital was most preferred followed by debt and then equity. Consequently, a set of recommendations aimed at enhancing the effectiveness of management decisions is suggested for consideration.

Kulfi is an indigenous frozen milk product of India.The present study on ¿Development of low calorie kulfi with Sucralose and Calcium Gluconate¿. Sucralose is the non-sweetener with low calorific value which is mainly use for diabetic and obesity Patients and Calcium Gluconate mainly to enrich the product.Control Kulfi prepared with Whole milk, Skim milk, sugar and other flavors like Caramel flavor, Kulfi flavor, Cardamom flavor and Stabilizer. Thirty trials have been conducted by replacing sugar with addition of Sucralose and Calcium gluconate which the Sucralose is taken as 420mg and Calcium gluconate is taken as 400mg, Kulfi flavor, Cardamom flavor is taken as 2% and Caramel flavor is taken as 3%. Proximate analysis and Microbial analysis are done. For Proximate analysis Fat, Protein and Total solids are done. Fat content of kulfi is 9.5%, Protein content is 4.5% and Total solids are 45%. For Microbial analysis are done for E.Coliform, Yeast and Mould and standard plate count test.Out of this thirty trials.27th trials is considered as best one because it is good in all the acceptability. The product has good sensory acceptability. So 27th trial was finalized.

In engineering systems like jet propulsion, steam turbines, gas turbines, and jet engines, nozzles are crucial parts. They increase the speed of fluid flow from subsonic to supersonic or hypersonic levels, producing the required thrust under certain design and operating circumstances. The efficiency, thrust, and flow rate of the nozzle are determined by its shape and flow characteristics, making its design and analysis essential to the optimization of a variety of engineering systems. In this work, sophisticated propelling nozzles are designed and analysed, with an emphasis on their form and flow characteristics. Nozzle length is taken into account, along with the assumption of constant momentum rate, and 1-D gas dynamic equations are used to examine these variables.The constant rate of momentum change (CRMC) hypothesis, which incorporates frictional effects and heat addition, is utilised to obtain consistent flow characteristics at any distance. The findings of the CRMC theory are validated using computational fluid dynamics (CFD) using ANSYS Workbench 2022R2, which reveals that under design conditions, the numerical conclusions and the CRMC theory results are in agreement.

In the present work a digital imaging approach has been devised in order to investigate different types of characteristics to identify the rice varieties. Two different common rice varieties were used in tests for defining. These include existing standards for rice Area, Aspect ratio, rmean, gmean, bmean, entropy_r, entropy_g and entropy_b. It successfully shows the effectiveness of compactness as its features. The database of the present work recognizes the rice, which has been trained and identified. With proper selection of software tools, a low cost tool is designed for quality analysis of rice grains which provides all relevant parameters about rice grains by image analysis. Hence, it aims for accurate classification of micro calcification of different types of rice varieties, used in testing and producing accurate result.

Designing a Spell Checker for Indian languages such as Punjabi poses many new challenges which are not found in English like use of conjuncts, which complicates the design of Spell Checker. Punjabi language is far different from Western languages in phonetic properties and grammatical rules.In Punjabi language, when we encounter an incorrect word while using spell checker, it gives many suggestions for that word. In this book, we have tried to optimize suggestions for Punjabi Spell Checker by checking the Punjabi text with the dictionary of Punjabi words to identify the incorrect words and then to generate the most relevant suggestions out of so many suggestions for that incorrect word so that the most appropriate suggestion can be at the top of the suggestion list.

The experiment was laid out in Randomized Block Design with Factorial concept and replicated three times. Fourteen treatment combinations comprising of seven intercropping treatments of pearl millet viz., I1 - sole pearl millet, I2 - sole black gram, I3 - sole cow pea, I4 - pearl millet + black gram (paired row 2:1), I5 - pearl millet + cow pea (paired row 2:1), I6 - pearl millet + black gram (paired row 3:2) and I7 - pearl millet + cow pea (paired row 3:2) and two nitrogen levels viz., N1 - 100 % RDN and N2 - 75 % RDN were evaluated in the study and it can be concluded that for getting higher PGEY (Pearl millet Grain Equivalent Yield), gross return and net return from pearl millet based intercropping system, pearl millet crop should be intercrop with black gram or cow pea in a 2:1 paired row intercropping system and fertilize with 100 % RDN. Beside this the intercropping of pearl millet with pulses also improve the nitrogen status over sole pearl millet at the end of the crop harvest.
