This book delves into the significant changes that occur in seeds during the ageing process, particularly in relation to seed quality and longevity. The pace of seed ageing is contingent upon the seed's capacity to withstand degradation and the specific protective mechanisms inherent to each plant species. Four soybean varieties were selected at the Experimental Farm, Department of Agricultural Botany, VNMKV, Parbhani, and subjected to artificial ageing under various time (24, 48, 72, 96, and 120 hours) and temperature (41°C, 42°C, 43°C, 44°C, and 45°C) conditions. Additionally, natural ageing was observed, with seeds stored under conventional, uncontrolled conditions and evaluated at intervals of 0, 60, 120, 180, and 240 days to assess seed quality. The duration of the ageing period, storage conditions, and specific characteristics of soybean varieties all influenced the extent of seed damage and the seed's ability to resist the adverse effects of ageing. This book is anticipated to be a valuable resource for students, teachers, and researchers involved in the fields of Seed Technology, providing insights into the intricate dynamics of seed ageing and quality preservation.

Due to the growing human need for networks with high bandwidth and high reliability, optical fibers have become widely used. The current systems are not all optical meaning that data is sent over optical pulses in the optical fiber and processed electronically at the receiver. First, optical data is converted to electronic data, which reduces the speed of data transmission. To address this shortcoming, electronic systems and subsystems should be replaced by optics equivalent as far as possible. For this purpose, along with the use of fiber optics as communication medium by employing optical filters, dispersion compensators, etc., optical subsystems have gradually entered the optical networks and this trend is developing day-by-day.The use of optical devices in fiber optic lines requires a connection process between them. The connection between them should be such that the overall loss of pulse propagations in the optical link is minimized and the connection does not turn into a loss bottleneck. In recent years, optical devices based on photonic crystal fibers (PCFs) have been introduced and developed practically.

Different properties of the molecular structures of favipiravir and ribavirin, which are used in the treatment of SARS-CoV-2 and also needed in the treatment of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in recent years, have been investigated using Density Functional Theory (DFT) B3LYP/6-311G(d, p) and 6-311+G(d, p) methods. The geometrical optimization of the molecular structures of favipiravir and ribavirin was made in the ground state, gas, and water solvent environments, the bond parameters were obtained and the theoretical results were compared with the values in the literature. By obtaining molecular orbital energy values from energy calculations, global reactivity parameters such as electron affinity, electronegativity, chemical potential, chemical hardness, softness, and electrophilicity index were obtained for both environments. The interactions between adenine, guanine, cytosine, and thymine DNA bases and the molecular structures of favipiravir and ribavirin were investigated in water with the help of two parameters such as ¿N (charge transfer) and ECT (electrophilicity-based charge transfer) using global reactivity values.
Extensible Markup Language (XML), a language for semi-structured documents, has emerged as the core of the web services architecture, and is playing crucial roles in messaging systems, databases, and document processing. XML is human readable stream of data, where each data item is tagged with a name. The formats of messages and the names of the tags are specified in a schema, which itself is expressed in XML. One document can be described by multiple schemas and the tags in the document have namespaces that facilitate resolving what tag belongs to what schema. The result is a structured document that is mostly self-descriptive. When using XML in embedded systems, certain issues and opportunities crop up, and one of the issues is related to the processing of XML data in an efficient way. Embedded systems differ from conventional computing platforms for their limited resources. High computation cost of software- based XML parser raises the resource usage and lowers the performance of embedded systems. One of the challenges faced by the processing of XML data in embedded automation controllers is the fulfillment of real-time requirements with the correctness and deterministic time.

This book is based on the theory of nonlinear (Lipschitz) operators. Recently, Lipschitz versions of different types of linear operators were investigated in several papers, as summability, ideals, convexity, and compacteness of Lipschits operators. There are not many books exclusively dealing with the propertie of nonlinear operators as: summability and ideals theory of nonlinear operators. In this book we present the theory of summability of Lipschitz operators, also some properties of linear operators which generalized to Lipschitz operatorsn their excellent book Framer and Johnson have introduce the theory of summability Lipschitz operators between pointed metric spaces and showed that it is a good generalization of the concept of linear p-summing operators between Banach spaces. This work marked the beginning of the theory of generalization of properties of linear operators to nonlinear case. Even in this much simpler case it becomes clear that we cannot hope to get n complete description of all properties of linear operators which generalized to Lipschitz operators. Therefore, we must limit ourselves to particular the dirent notions of Lipschitz operators which exists.

The transformation of the world following business, as usual, doesn¿t work. The search for new development models has been investigated for centuries. To go beyond economic growth, to protect the planet and to promote human dignity leaving no one behind, are ideas that are easy to understand but difficult to implement simultaneously. It is considered that Sustainable Development is the name of this new Game, and the Sustainable Development Goals have added institutions and partnerships, respectively the Rules and the Players of the Game to make this challenge work. The study consists of a top-down approach based on covering the evolution of the development concept and a bottom-up work based on 120 case studies of People-First PPPs, partnerships that have a Value for People approach. To facilitate the communication for implementation, a toolbox was created with concepts that can be used by development scientists and practitioners, willing to use the SDGs as a new development language.
Yoga Science is an ancient Indian discipline that traces its roots back five thousand years to the Vedas, a collection of texts authored by Vedvyas during the Treta Yuga. The essence of Yoga is elucidated within these sacred scriptures, which form part of the Sanatana Dharma and encompass the 4 Vedas, 18 Puranas, and 108 Upanishads. Within the Vedic teachings, the definition of Yoga is expounded. Furthermore, the Yoga Sutras of Maharishi Patanjali, known as Raja Yoga or Ashtanga Yoga, outline the principles of leading a righteous life. These sutras encompass eight limbs, namely: (i) Yama, (ii) Niyama, (iii) Asana, (iv) Pranayama, (v) Pratyahara, (vi) Dharana, (vii) Meditation, and (viii) Samadhi. The practice of these eight limbs enables the awakening of mudras, bandhas, and chakras within the physical body, leading to various health benefits. The book explains in a simplified manner how one can cultivate virtuous living by channeling vital energy through the use of mudras, bandhas, and chakras from the Muladhara Chakra to the Sahasrara Chakra.
The Protocol on the Establishment of the East African Common Market entered into force on 1 July 2010, following ratification by all the five Partner States namely: Burundi, Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania and Uganda. The total life space can be divided into two segments as professional life and personal as well as social life. There needs to be a balance between both in order to avoid stress and lead to a meaningful life. Those who create an imbalance by bringing home to office and taking office to home remain unhappy and less productive. The onus for striking balance between work and life lies on the shoulders of both the employer as well as the employee. Poor work life balance causes to stress resulting into poor performance and low productivity.Work life balance (WLB) is striking balance between work and non-work schedules. Balance means equilibrium. The term balance can be signified by establishing levelness between two equally demanding things. WLB warrants for achievement as well as enjoyment, achievement through work and enjoyment through life. Work and life are two sides of a coin. They are interwoven in nature and overlap. An emotionally intelligent employee very well knows how to strike balance between work and life. Still lot of support is needed from the top management/employers.
