Folk research is a scientific and systematic search for pertinent information on a specific topic. It is an art of scientific investigation. Folk research is a careful investigation through the search for new facts. P.V. Young has defined folk research in the following words: ¿We may define folk research as the systematic method of discovering new facts or verifying old facts, their sequences, inter-relationships, casual explanations and the natural laws which govern them¿. Folk research deals with social phenomena. It studies the behaviour of human beings as members of Folk society and their feelings, responses, and attitudes under different circumstances. Folk research is carried out to discover new facts and to verify the old ones. The object of every science, of course, is the discovery of new facts, relationships, and laws governing the phenomena. But constant verification of the old concepts is also needed, especially in the case of dynamic sciences. Folk research tries to establish a causal connection between various human activities. It is exciting to note whether various complex human activities are being performed.
The open-circuit potential of the uncoated, n-TCP coated and GO/CS/n-TCP composite coated titanium metal, TAV, and Co-Cr-W alloys in serum increases in the noble direction with increasing the immersion time, and this continued for about one hour before reaching a constant value revealing growth of the air-formed protective film on the surfaces of the materials. A two-time constants equivalent electrical circuit was suitable for the duplex in nature passive film on the examined materials. The EIS results indicated that the corrosion resistance increases with time and then decreases after 21 days due to the partial decomposition of the protective film on the electrode surfaces. The corrosion resistance of examined materials surfaces follows the order: uncoated coated< GO/CS/n-TCP composite coated. Coating of the tested materials surfaces with n-TCP or composite increases the process of the passive film growth with time till a definite thickness but for a long time, this protective layer dissolves to a certain limit.

A cross-sectional study was conducted from November 2014 to June 2014 to work out the prevalence of hydatid cyst in cattle slaughtered at Addis Ababa Abattoirs Enterprise. Individual animals were selected using systematic sampling methods. Out of the overall 460 cattle slaughtered and examined at capital of Ethiopia Abattoirs Enterprise, 97(21.18%) cattle were infected with hydatidosis. The total annual economic loss due to organ condemned and carcass weight loss at Addis Ababa Abattoirs Enterprise was estimated to be 38577974.8 ETB (1950352.6188 USD). It can be concluded that hydatidosis is endemic and prevalent in cattle in the study area. Age and body condition of the animals are the major associated risk factors for hydatidosis infection. Therefore effort should be made to control the transmission of hydatidosis from slaughterhouse by the safe disposal of infected organs.
Dentists are likely to encounter lesions that have both Endodontic and Periodontal aetiological components; the so called 'Endo-Perio lesions'. A thorough examination with appropriate investigations remains pivotal to diagnosing such lesions. Correct diagnosis is therefore the key to successful outcome as it enables the most suitable clinical management hence improving the prognosis. The interrelationship between endodontic and periodontal disease has aroused confusion, queries and controversy. Differentiating between endodontic and periodontal problems can be difficult. A symptomatic tooth may have pain of pulpal and/or periodontal origin. The nature of that pain is often the first clue in determining the etiology of such a problem. Radiographic and clinical evaluation can help clarify the nature of the problem. In some cases, the influence of pulpal pathology may create periodontal involvement. In others, periodontal pathology may create pulpal pathology. This book discusses the various clinical aspects to be considered for accurately diagnosing and treating endo-perio lesions.
Global warming leads to endosymbiotic archaeal growth. The endosymbiotic archaea develops into cell organelle called archaeaons. This produces a new human phenotype called Homo neoneanderthalis. The new organelle that are developed can withstand climate change and fix carbon dioxide and ammonia leading to endogenous synthesis of carbohydrates and protein. The Homo neoneanderthalis is a new metabolic phenotype that can survive in extremes of climate produced by global warming. The neoneanderthalic archaeaons are capable of fixing carbon dioxide and oxygen, using ammonia for energetics and capable of biological fission and fusion reactions. The fixing of carbon dioxide leads to water as a by-product. This generates endogenous water in the neoneanderthalic system helping to survive extremophilic climatic conditions. This creates a new system of energetics helping the Neoneanderthal survives in extremes of climate and can colonise other planets and galaxies forming microbial civilizations. They have quantal perception and are capable of wave-particle existence and teleportation.
