  • - Our Health, Life, and Longevity is Electronic
    by Triveni P Shukla
    £18.99

I entitled this book "Immortal Mitochondria" because thousands of them in every one of my cells withtheir own genome make me live, grow, and function as a person with power to feel and heal. I inheritedthis old eukaryotic symbiont from my maternal mothers may be a 1000 years ago and there may me a1000 or more males and females out there with mitochondrial genome similar to mine. This biologicaltruth relates to our daily life in terms of foods we eat for energy and our vitality, our electro-magneticlife processes, life span, aging and death. As mitochondria do all this, they fuse, split, change shape, and get destroyed under their own specification of purposeful quality control.I wish to tell my readers that the mitochondrial genome talks to our nuclear genome regularly andcaring for it is critical to our health and longevity. The first chapter is about biochemistry of chemicalenergy production from glucose, the second is about "how, how often, and what kind" of foods that we should eat, thethird is about vital signs and organ failures due to failingmitochondria, and the fourth is about diseases controlledmy mitochondrial genes. The fifth chapter is an integratedsummation of all. It describes the evolution of and powerproduction by mitochondria, mitochondrial health as it relatesto aging, and the e ects of how we choose to live on the healthof mitochondria. I should emphasize that "How we chooseto live" includes exercise, yoga, meditation, mindfulness, acupuncture, self-message, and even the way we use ourmind. We live by 3,750 million of these nanomagnets in ourcells and our life is all about the life of mitochondria withinus. We can live long and well only by healthy mitochondria. We must help them remain immortal by good foods.

Crotch Thinking is the story of one baby boomer’s sexuality from his third year to his seventieth.  Repression, hormones, and cultural forces led to a shotgun marriage and two daughters he adored and abandoned for a second, trophy wife.  Passionate pleasure with her obscured the permanent pain brought on by her alcohol and drug addictions and his codependence. Then, the joy of their son’s open adoption was overshadowed by failed treatment attempts and professional ruin. After six decades he learned the difference between lust and love, but not in time to save his children from alcoholism, depression, obesity, and inability to trust. From this life millennial men can learn to reflect on their sexuality and communicate openly about it.

My advice to the world is that we cannot be afraid to challenge all types of injustices. We must go forth and give courage to the people of our lives and show them that we will not tolerate cruelty. There are many lessons to be learned through the stories of others. One of the most important lessons that I have learned is the value of the strength and sheer resilience of women. It is through this strength, grace, and beauty that we can find the key to tackling hardships and living a harmoniously successful life. Come along on this journey of poverty, pain, and triumphs to discover the lessons that lie within.

A special group of companies deals with insurance policies covering end-of-life situations. First of all, what is a difficult period for the families concerned, is only a statistical factor for those dealing with life insurance as a financial market called the "First Market". What you are about to read will defiantly speak to your heart. Proverbs 4:23 says "Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it". A healthy heart is a step in the right direction in our attempt to live a long life, however God has designed each and everyone of us to live not only a long live here on earth but also to live a life that would last forever. The Lord spoke through the prophet Jeremiah and said, "The heart is deceitful above all things and it is extremely sick; Who can understand it fully and know its secret motives? "I, the Lord, search and examine the mind, I test the heart, to give to each man according to his ways, According to the results of his deeds". Jeremiah 17:9-10. Your heart is most precious to God and his desire is to give you a new heart in place of the one you may have at this moment. It's a spiritual heart and in a nut nutshell as they say, it's the real you that exists inside of the here and now you at this moment.

  • - How to Be Prayed Up
    by Martin Latigue
    £6.49

How do you pray in a time like this when your mind is gone so fast, you can't think? How do you pray in combat when your mind is off? When we went to South Vietnam, I could go to the front line to fight the enemy, but I couldn't ride on the front of the bus, illegal in south. Draftee were ordered to join the armed forces, most of the men were from the south and southwest. President Kennedy had asked fellow Americans, asked not what your country can do for you but asked what you can do for your country. We were all drafted by him. No one knew for certain if this was the start-up that change the prejudiced of the country. I believed that we want to serve our country and would overlook our own prejudices in order to serve. We were together all of time in training and fellowship, on and off duty. We would overcome culture and ethnic differences. The army had a timetable set to get this division in the war in Vietnam (First Cavalry Airmobile). So the training was very hard and fast. This was the first time helicopters would be used to fight in a battle. The battalion commander Col. Moore had us well train and disciplined. By the fellowship we had become brothers before going to Vietnam. After fifty years, we still get together; we meet once a year. We would need this brotherly love to fight for each other in the bigger battle of the war. In combat, you don't have time to think about what you are doing; you just do it. Your training takes over. How do you pray in a time like this when your mind is gone so fast, you can't think?
