In this exhibition, the aesthetic achievements of José Villalobos and Salvador de la Torre converge to theoretically queer citizenship and problematize machismo from a queer/trans axis nepantleando in diaspora, where queer is a site of infinite possibility. Visually articulated throughout this exhibition is an aesthetic provocation upon machismo, hetero-patriarchy, and cis-supremacy that challenges inherent social value through Queerteñx culture.

  • - Captain James Avery and Uncas First of the Mohegans
    by James Battles
    £15.99

Many of us have heard of the Last of the Mohegans, but few have heard of the First of the Mohegans. The Bond of Two Worlds: Captain James Avery and Uncas First of the Mohegans is the story of two influential figures who worked together to defend early colonial Connecticut. While Avery was an English colonist and military leader, Uncas was a Native American chief who played a crucial role in maintaining peace and protecting his tribe's interest. Their alliance and cooperation were essential in navigating the complex and often tense relationships between the English and the Native American tribes during early colonial America. This book is a work of historical fiction based on two very real people and historical events that really happened. This story is told through the voice of James Avery with words and interactions with real historical figures as they might have occurred as imagined by the author. It is a fascinating story based on historical facts.

  • by Hadassah Hadara
    £29.99

Drawing inspiration from a childhood fascination with the stories of King Solomon and Empress Makeda of Sheba in the Biblical Song of Songs, The Kebra Nagast, and the works of Josephus, as well as Gnostic depictions of the unique intimacy between the Messiah called Yeshua and Mary Magdalene, this book evokes an ecstatic narrative of the forbidden love-- at once historical, Scriptural, and mythical-- between King David & Bathsheba. A unique reverie that is at once ancient and anachronistic, the poems and bits of surreal prose contained herein bring the story of David and Bathsheba to life with a bit of a post-postmodern voice, revealing the truth of passion that endures, haunts, & heals.

  • - Omens of National Judgments
    by Luis Vega
    £28.99

The purpose of this Book is to present over a Decade-Worth of Research since 2015, into the 3 Great American Eclipses that Crisscrossed the United States of America. They started in 2017 and culminated in 2024. One will present a Compilation of Articles suggesting that these Eclipses were Celestial Omens of Pending Judgment upon a Nation, that much like Nineveh of the Old Testament was given an allotted Time to Repent of her Sins, etc. The Research explores each of the 3 Great American Eclipse, that were Total Solar Eclipses as it pertained to its Astronomical Significance, Geo-Political Correlations and most importantly, its Spritely Diagnosis and Prognostication. The Eclipses occurred, 1st in the Constellation of Leo and was connected to the Revelation 12 Sign of 2017. The 2nd Eclipse occurred in the Constellation of Virgo and the Eclipse produced a Spectacular Wedding Ring Effect. Then lastly, the Final and 3rd Eclipse occurred in the Sign of Pisces. Where are these all Coincidences? One will present Circumstantial Evidence that suggests these were in fact how the GOD of Israel, of Creation set for the Signs of Omens of Judgment in the Sun, Moon and Starts. One is convinced that the 3 Great American Eclipses were Omens of National Judgment that caused a Division upon the Land as the Spirits of Ancient Goddesses and Baphomets came in to fill in the Vacuum of a Nation once dedicated to Biblical Law and Living. What does this National Judgment look like? What has become of America's Prominence and Position in the World? What is the State of the Churches in this Last Chapter of the Once Great and Mighty United States of America? Purchase a Copy for one's Personal Study or to give to others as a Gift. Here I present my findings that the solar system mirrors atomic systems and has a quantum mechanical solution to the Schrödinger wave equation based on a base unit of 1 second. I further suggest that this solution for our spectral class G2V star the Sun, may indicate that life is a uniform cosmic unfolding throughout the Universe. In order to test whether this works for many G2V stars like our Sun we would need to detect Earth sized planets around other such stars, to see if my Planck constant works for other planetary systems, which I show is connected to my theory for the radius of a proton in terms the Natural constants such as the gravitational constant for gravity and the Planck constant for atoms. Though we measure time with the duration of a second and it came from no idea in Nature but rather how we divided up the day into units since ancient times, it turns out it is a natural duration in this theory and I suggest it is because of how we divided up the day and year from observing the apparent motions of the Sun and stars due to the Earth's motion, that we may have inadvertently had an idea in this that was Natural in terms of the Nature pf atoms and the Earth/Moon/Sun system. Our theory also seems to based on a sixfold symmetry based around the skeletons of life chemistry, the hydrocarbons. I further develop an equation of state for the periodic table of the elements and suggest an intermediary mass between that of the proton and the stars. This results in a constant k that is characteristic of the universe and is in inverse velocity. With these we show it may be that yellow G2V stars with a planet in the habitable zone may be a property of the Universe. I find that the Earth/Moon/Sun system gives the eigenvalue or basis vector for Natural Systems predicting the life span of the Universe in the standard cosmological model. At the end of the paper we apply our theory to another star system, one that is the only one we have detected so far with an Earth-sized planet in it habitable zone. Unfortunately this star is not a yellow G2V star like our Sun, but a red dwarf M star. But we get a feeling for how to apply this theory. The central theme of this paper is that life may be a Natural property of the Universe.

'Photo' edition, Vol. 7 is an in-depth and panoramic view of northeast Ohio's first railroad known as the Baltimore & Ohio Lake Branch. This compilation contains the largest collection of professional photographs ever assembled. In addition, an index of all rail sidings, stations, and miscellaneous information from Painesville, to DeForest Jct. (Little Chicago) is compiled. Businesses such as Ohio Pail are presented, a chapter on accidents and events that made front page news along with building and construction blueprints are enclosed. Also featured is the EM - 1 'Big Emmas, ' the largest locomotive ever built to run across the branch. It is captured here in all its glory as it thunders across the countryside. All of the materials in this edition are first-hand accounts. The photographers who took these photos worked for the railroad and spent their lives preserving the company's legacy so we might enjoy a look back in time. These men captured an era of machines that showed strength in harsh conditions, while preserving the aesthetic beauty of machine and surrounding countryside. Early blueprints and maps show the right-of-way and local streets at various time periods. If you are reading this you have a savor for Nostalgia. The romance that people have come to love about this branch is generally associated with the steam era. It is the authors wish this final edition rekindles memories, educates newcomers and fulfills the yearning to know what was and remains of the B. & O. Lake Branch. The journey from Painesville to Youngstown was approximately 64.4 miles. However, the story of the branch should be measured not in miles, but memories.
