This book is a humble attempt to measure Audience expectations from the National TV during a specific period which is the Holly month of Ramadan. This book is a bridge that can shorten the gap between the National TV and its audience. Moroccans are willing to have a TV channel that is renewed enough to be worth of being watched by so many people in different corners of the world, and it is high time to collaborate and work together to reach this aim. Conducting such a research surely helps the decision makers of the channel to produce programs that fit the anticipations of the Moroccan audience especially during Ramadan.
This book contributes to Islamic finance literature introducing mortgage products for housing finance as an important component of retail markets. Dr Mohammed Tameme is considered one of the influential Islamic Economist in the field examined the characteristics of the UK market for Islamic mortgages and its related activities focusing on institutional engagement, supply and demand conditions for finance. The Book evaluates the development of Islamic housing finance in the United Kingdom by focusing on the growing demand for Islamic Mortgages in the UK and its current practices, accessibility, choice criteria and awareness among UK Muslims. It access the providers marketing strategies, conditions and governance. It concludes that the prospects of Islamic mortgages in UK are promising unlike conventional banks¿ mortgages, since they are not financed by borrowing from the wholesale markets, but from Islamic deposits. Islamic housing finance has a tendency of sustainability and has not been subject to the problems associated with sub-prime defaults. Interestingly, risk appraisal processes by Islamic institutions that provide housing finance has made it more difficult for low-income.
Chronic suppurative otitis media (CSOM) is defined as a permanent perforation of the tympanic membrane with persistent discharge from the middle ear, lasting more than 6-12 weeks. (Phub T et al., 2012). Chronic suppuration can occur with or without cholesteatoma, and the clinical history of both conditions can be very similar. The treatment plan for cholesteatoma always includes tympanomastoid surgery with medical treatment as an adjunct. (Wright D& Safranek S., 2009). Tympanic membrane perforation (TMP) is a common otologic problem leading to conductive hearing loss. (Amoils CP et al ., 1992 ). A persistent TMP increases the patient risk of developing recurrent acute otitis media or chronic middle ear disease, These conditions are frequently associated with an unpleasant otorrhea, The myringoplasty is a surgical procedure that closes a simple perforated tympanic membrane . (Sckolnick JS et al., 2008).
This study is an investigation of the impact of political Islam on Moroccan feminism and women¿s kinesis and mobility in Morocco. In fact, Islamism and feminism constituted two different poles with different orientations and agendas towards Moroccan women¿s rights. These different orientations and backgrounds have galvanized a quarrel between the two movements around the subject of women. Feminists sought to emancipate women adhering to a western based model. On the other hand, Islamists believed in the necessity of a local paradigm of emancipation which draws from and operates within an Islamic framework.
Infertility is one of the most serious problems around the world and the male counterpart contributes half of the infertility cases. Infertility can be caused by androgen deficiency or low testosterone level. The evaluation of infertility can aid in determining the underlying cause of infertility as well as giving treatment to allow conception to occur. Diazepam is used to treat anxiety, convulsions and for sedation . The severity of adverse effects induced by diazepam forces physicians to pay attention and exercise caution to side effects when they prescribe this drug. Recent studies found that diazepam acts as Ca+2 channels antagonist as it can produce a complete inhibition of voltage-dependent Ca+2 uptake and that the Na+/Ca+2 exchange carrier in mitochondria may be a common receptor for diazepam and calcium channel blockers. Calcium ion contributes in many cellular functions in both somatic and germ cells in the testis, especially, mediating the responses to endocrine hormones and local regulators in genital tracts and thus any change in the transport of Ca+2 across the cell membrane could result in an extreme impact on steroidogenesis and spermatogenesis.
The aim of this work is intended to present a unified, mostly self-contained, survey of the theory of integral representation of bounded operators in topological spaces. It is written for the graduate students who are familiar with abstract measure and integration, and also with the main topics of Banach spaces and topological vector spaces. A lot of work has been done on various extensions of this theorem and it is still the object of many investigations. The objective of this work is a presentation of some prominent generalizations of Riesz Theorem, frequently used in the literature. Each representation theorem considered here has its own integration process which goes through duality of function spaces. We will essentially be concerned by the following settings: In the first part, we consider Banach spaces X,Y , and form the Banach space C(S,X) of all continuous functions from the compact space S into X, equipped with the uniform norm. In the second part, the objective is to go beyond the Banach space setting, to X a topological vector space context.
The use of near surface mounted (NSM) carbon fibre reinforced polymer (CFRP) reinforcement is a recent and a promising technique for increasing the flexural capacity and the fatigue life of reinforced concrete (RC) flexural members. Prestressing the NSM CFRP rod may be utilized for a further enhancement in the monotonic and fatigue flexural response of RC beams. The aim of this study is to investigate the effectiveness of strengthening RC beams with nonprestressed and prestressed CFRP rods to increase the monotonic and fatigue flexural strength of the beams. Twenty-two RC beams were fabricated. Five beams were not strengthened and acted as control to simulate an existing structural member. The other beams were divided into groups that were strengthened with non-prestressed CFRP rod (0% prestressed), and prestressed CFRP rod (40%, or 60% prestressed of the CFRP rod tensile strength). A beam from each group was tested under monotonic load and acted as a reference beam for those tested under cyclic loads.
ZAINUDDIN MAKHDUM AND MALABAR: History is full of the story of human greed for mundane wealth and power. No sector of human community is alien to this general rule. Islam reached the Malabar coast during the life time of the Prophet (peace be upon Him) itself, through Arab traders. The traders with their marriage relations with the natives of the coast gradually developed a separate Muslim Community in Malabar, who were living peacefully for centuries, when Vasco da Gama, the Portuguese reached Kappad (Calicut) in 1498. Sooner than later the Portuguese, with their experience in Spain in overthrowing the 800 year old Arab rule there, tried their lot to quell the Muslim supremacy in Malabar. However, the timely appearance of the Yemeni Hero, Sheikh Zainuddin Makhdum, who arrayed the people of Malabar against the Portuguese attempt to monopolise the trade and commerce of the area, forms the glorious success story one sees in Tuhfatul Mujahideen.
Agriculture in the Polly plastic a modern agricultural technology is the sophisticated agriculture style to increase the production for vegetable crops. Agriculture in Polly plastic maintains scarce resources specially the water, increasing the importance of protected agriculture (Polly plastic, plastic tunnels) in the production of vegetables to meet the needs of consumers and securing sufficient quantities of them throughout the year, have spread widely in recent times. It is to control the environmental factors like temperature, humidity, light and winds etc; for producing vegetable crops in off seasons. Vegetables protected agriculture produces high value because they contain large amounts of mineral salts and carbohydrates, proteins, fats, vitamins. The agricultural production in the Polly plastic is characterized by good quality and high productivity. The use of Polly plastic today in vegetable crops production in Iraq is needed. To transfer the knowledge about agricultural production is the need of the hour for Iraqi farmers. In this regard, the major instrument extension service is a public agency used to disseminate agricultural knowledge to farmers.
Reading is a significant skill in many Foreign Language Learning contexts, and one of the personal traits that may influence foreign language learners' reading ability is ambiguity tolerance, which may itself be affected by a number of factors. This book explores the effect of using information gap and opinion gap tasks on language learners' ambiguity tolerance in the reading skill. It includes both a literature review and an empirical analysis of the subject. Language learners and teachers, researchers as well as syllabus designers may find this book relevant and interesting.
Laparoscopic splenectomy is feasible, effective, and safe with low morbidity rates and has rapidly become the surgical approach of choice for patients that require elective splenectomy in the treatment of hematologic disorders. Stapling devices have been established as a mainstay in laparoscopic splenectomy. The study was conducted in Fayoum University Hospitals from November 2014 till July 2016 and it included twenty patients in whom splenectomy was indicated. All patients were subjected to laparoscopic splenectomy with sealing of the pedicle using LigaSure and harmonic scalpel. The patients were presented by different indications for splenectomy. Stapleless and sutureless laparoscopic splenectomy for splenomegaly is safe and effective, and it is associated with low conversion rates in selected patients. This technique reduces operating time in laparoscopic splenectomy and removes the disadvantage of a longer operating period in laparoscopic splenectomy over the open splenectomy with acceptable complication and conversion rates The technique may be considered an alternative when it is difficult or inadequate to use mechanical stapling devices to transect the splenic hilum.
Girl's education is a problematic issue in under-developed countries, South Sudan is one of it, the research deals with the main barriers of girls education in the whole country & specify the root causes for it as it is the first step to overcome the barriers, the methods and ways to do so varies from one place to another, but the challenge is one, and the active element in eradicating the harmful practices for the girls comes from inside its communities. In the field of our work as education professionals we have seen a lot which enabled us to identify the different phases of the problems & challenges, here we suggest some of it to be practiced so gradually the awareness of the communities would be raised to a certain degree where the harm practices on the rights of females would be less attractive to its individuals.
The current study investigates the morphological structures of those forms that are derived from adjectives by certain morphological processes. The bases and the derivatives belong to major lexical categories. Actually, the bases are adjectives only, while the derived words are nouns, verbs, adjectives and adverbs. Adjectives are treated by word-formation processes in order to produce deadjectivals out of them. The morphological processes that derive deadjectivals are either affixation or conversion. Affixation involves formal changes (adding affixes to the bases), while conversion does not involve such changes. These forms can appear in the function of their ordinary underived counterparts. Therefore the present study tries to highlight the processes by which deadjectivals are gained. Furthermore, it sheds light on the types of the derivatives, their semantics, syntax and their renderings in Arabic. The aim of this study is to investigate how different parts of speech are derived by using different means of derivation. It also tries to touch upon the meanings, syntactic functions and realizations of these derivatives.
Phytotherapy is frequently considered to be less toxic and free from side effects than synthetic drugs. The present study was designed to investigate the protective use of crude water extract of Morus alba leaves on body weight, and retinopathy of rat pups maternally subjected to either diabetes and/or aluminum intoxicated. Application of this extract resulted in amelioration of the alterations of maternal serum glucose and aluminum concentration and aluminum levels in cerebellum of mothers as well as their pups at 14 days old.The retina, cerebellar cortex and cervical spinal cord of pups at different ages of either diabetic and/or aluminum intoxicated mothers exhibited massive cytopathological alterations of all layers. The ependymal canal of diabetic mother appeared congested with marked hyperplasia of their ependymal cells, and possessed widespread of pyknotic nuclei, and increased incidence of DNA fragmentation and apoptosis cell death. However, protection with Morus alba extract led to amelioration of the pathological alterations and the effects of the extract might be attributed to the hypoglycaemic and antioxidative potential of flavonoids, the major components of the extract.
This book contains an estimate of some elements and vitamins in semen to men suffering from infertility of the type Asthenospermia, which is part of the requirements for obtaining a doctorate in sperm physiology from the Department of Life Sciences / Faculty of Science / University of Babylon. The book presents the division of infertility in men into several categories, including Asthenospermia, Normospermia, oligospermia, Azospermia and others, after relying on the World Health Organization in its fifth edition of 2010 in semen analysis and identification of those categories. The level of vitamins E (E, C) and the level of antioxidants, such as GSH, CAT, were measured. Levels of some minerals such as zinc, calcium, potassium, etc. were also estimated.
The following book is evaluating the marketing activity in the independent hotels. It had been covered the most marketing activities which take place in the independent hotels especially independent four star hotels category because this category hasn't any care from the researchers. The researcher selected 10 independent four star hotels in Cairo as sample of the study from 11 independent hotels located in Cairo. Then it was presented the important recommendations for these hotels to face the problems in marketing departments in the independent hotels after evaluated their marketing activities.Chapter one of this thesis comprise the following titles (hospitality industry, marketing definitions, marketing mix and promotional mix) in addition to direct marketing, Internet marketing and relationship marketing these elements were discussed in the chapter of review of literature. Chapter two includes materials and methodology which the researcher used them in this study, this chapter comprises two instruments the first one is questionnaires to travel agents and sample of independent hotels' guests, and the second is interviews with marketing managers in the investigated hotels.
The Growth accounting for for labor productivity growth rate and Determinants of Total Factor Productivity (TFP) growth rates analysis has been an important area of research since the mid of 1950s . Large bodies of literature on sources of labor productivity growth enhanced knowledge on the role technical change (TC) in growth rate.Hence, economic growth rate remain major objectives for policy makers in their attempt to promote economic growth. Thus, this Book decomposed the sources of labor productivity for the Sudanese economy for the period (1980-2009) in order to see its main drivers. The study uses advanced econometric technique based time series data employing Johansson co-integration technique to estimate the capital¿s share within initial capital based on reference study and calculated initial capital based on variety of methods for the whole economy and its main sectors. The finding shows that, there is a long-run equilibrium relationship between (TFP )and the capital labor ratio for economy and the sectors respectively.the Book provides valuables time series data for Sudan economy such as labor, capital, augmented labor, TFP ...etc
61 Lates niloticus collected from River Nile were examined for the presence of protozoan ectoparasites. Four species of Apiosoma (A. amoebae, A. doliaris, A. piscicola and A. poteriformis) and one Scopulata (S. epibranchialis) were recorded. A. poteriformis was recorded in Egypt for the first time and all the above parasites were recorded from this fish for the first time. Also, 19 fish were natural hosts of eight trichodinids. All isolated trichodinids, except T. lepsii, were detected for the first time from this fish. Moreover, T. rectuncinata was isolated for the first time from any fish kind in Egypt. 52 fish specimens were also natural hosts of nine ciliates: six species of scyphidians; Ambiphyra ameiuri, Ambiphyra sp., Scyphidia globularis, S. doliaris, Scyphidia mansouriensis n. sp. and Scyphidia sp.; two amphileptids; Amphileptus niloticus n. sp. and Amphileptus sp. and only one tetrahymenid; Tetrahymena sp. All parasites were recorded for the first time from this host in Egypt. Scyphidia globularis and S. doliaris were not recorded before from any fish kind in Egypt. Furthermore, Amphileptus niloticus and Scyphidia mansouriensis were described as new species.
Cotton (Gossypium barbadense L.) is one of the most important basic fiber crops in the world. Egyptian cotton has been the most important export and cash crop in Egypt for many years. Cotton is considered one of the important strategic crops, where it has an effective influence on national income of Egypt. Cotton contributes 2.5% of agriculture total income which equals about 4.8% of total plant production (FAO STAT 2014).
African literatures in African languages are still in the margin of literary critical analyses and theories. As a consequence, there are few critical studies and theories focused on the interface between the African oral literatures in African languages and their written ones. This situation raises important critical and theoretical questions for literary critics, theoreticians and students. This book provides critical perspectives taking into account aspects of the interface between the oral and written forms through a case study on Hausa literature. In fact, the notion of interface permeates the book: interface between the collective repertoire of Hausa oral traditions and the individual, more stylized usages of elements of the repertoire by traditional artists; between oral and written literary productions in the Hausa language as well as in translation; between the traditional astists and modern writters and between Francophone and Anglophone literary traditions and civilizations often competing with the Hausa ones from Northern Nigeria and Southeastern Niger, symbols of different colonial experiences.
