Medical journals, imagined by many to be as dull as telephone directories and twice as obscure, influence the lives of everybody¿and not always for the better. Not only do they affect how doctors treat patients and the actions taken by public health authorities, they also influence how we think about birth, death, pain, and sickness. It may therefore make sense - for the thoughtful but not necessarily expert reader¿to pay attention to the ways of medical journals, particularly as many of those ways are deficient and need reform. Some societies and some commercial publishers have grown rich from their journals, earning profit margins of 40%. They were ¿must have¿ journals,quasi-monopolies. New paper journals ceased to appear in such large numbers a decade or so ago because the traditional business model¿ of selling subscriptions primarily to institutions¿would no longer work.

The objective of this study is to investigate the ways whereby English language textbooks reinforce gender stereotypes. The main aim is to evaluate Ticket 2 English and to analyze the representations of both women and men in Moroccan EFL textbooks. I would like to investigate the effect of these gender roles represented in this textbook on both girls and boys. This study would prove that EFL textbooks reinforce gender stereotypes through the presentation of implicit meanings in words, pictures, adjectives and the social functions of both females and males. However, this investigation might find a possibility of making a change within the student's mindset relying on the presentation of equality and equity in textbooks and attitudes of teachers towards gender. The present research aims at investigating the effects of gender representation in Moroccan EFL textbooks mainly Ticket 2 English on second baccalaureate learners' perception of women and men's identity. It studies the impacts of gender roles that are reflected in EFL textbooks.

The purpose of this book is to provide valuable information about the representation of gender in Moroccan cinema and to offer data to help to find a better strategy to suit the producers and the audience as well. This study aims to investigate and determine the impact of Green human resource management practices on Sustainable Corporate Performance the mediation role of Organization Citizenship Behavior for Environment in Manaseer Group - Jordan. The researcher in this study was used structural equation modeling (SEM) techniques; SPSS and AMOS were applied for analysis the study data. The sample of study was selected by using simple random technique. The study sample consists of employees from the sixteen companies of Manaseer Group at various industrial sectors. The researcher was collecting 318 questionnaires from original number distributed 650 questioners.

Communication between men and women has been an area of investigation for many scholars; they try to find sources of oral and written text differences. This research aims at finding some answers to information about some characteristics of males and females communication. It is about investigating gender differences and language use in the Moroccan media. I will discuss the importance of language which is used in the production of media messages and their relationship with social and cultural development. Furthermore, I will show the importance of the role of gender in media contents and its importance for the audience as well as the medium itself.

The purpose of this book is the correction of polyurethane by Vinyl tri methoxy silane. In this method, polyurethane was synthesized by the pre-polymer method, and polypropylene glycol, hex methylene disocyanate, and di-methyl propionic acid were used in the vicinity of the catalyst for this purpose. Then synthesized polyurethane is dispersed by double-distilled water and finally, vinyl monomers and versatic acid and vinyl acetate and vinyl tri-methoxysilane along with polyurethane and with the emulsion polymerization method are converted to one vinyl-urethane hybrid co polymer modified with silane. The necessary tests among its thermal properties and stability were investigated. The obtained results indicate an increase and improvement of said properties.

This book proposes a meta-layer fault tolerant structure for real time systems. Highly reliable systems design is necessary in the critical operating systems such as: air traffic systems, nuclear power facilities and medical life-support devices, where faulty operation could cause menace to the life. Likewise, unmanned satellites and deep-space probes once launched in the space require maintenance-free circuit. The designed system mainly depends on the reconfigurable ability of FPGA used nowadays for designing many systems including Satellites. Fault classifier is the vital part of the design. Today we live in global world and media become an integral part in our lives. We become much more attached to media; it becomes really hard to escape from it. Parents, teachers, and society worry about the daily exposure of children, youth, and even elders to media. They think that the media have a negative impact on people. This study is conducted to answer the following questions: do media have an impact on youth? what is the role of media in acculturation process?

Language gives primacy to speech over writing. Speech is essentially a continuous activity and the individual sounds and their sequences carry no meanings, as a sentence is the collection of meaningful words which convey the full sense. If speech is not connected (continuous), it cannot be called a speech at all. Connected speech is very systematic and it consists of various characteristic features which contribute to the meaning of the connected speech. Followings are the feature of connected speech. The ability of speaking English embodies the correctness of pronunciation and intonation and directly affects the appropriate communication in conversation.
