This book is about the evaluation of the hypoglycemic and protective effects of mixture of five selective medicinal plants: Trigonella faenum-graecum seeds, Nigella sativa seeds, Zingiber officinale rhizomes, Olea europeae leaves and Fraxinus ssp. seeds, and determine the efficacy of this mixture in the treatment of diabetes mellitus type 2. The hyperglycemia was induced by alloxan in male rats model. This study has involved many phytochemical tests such as characterization of 20% methanolic extract of each plants which has been carried out by thin layer chromatography, detection phytochemical compounds and antioxidant activity test. Furthermore, cytogenetic and molecular study was carried out which included determination of mitotic index, chromosome aberration, and DNA fragmentation test of DNA extracted from WBC and renal cortex. On the other hand, insulin receptor and insulin receptor substrate-1 genes had been detected in all treatment and control groups. Also, histopathological changes in pancreas, liver, and kidney were studied.
In this work, we have studied some geometric properties of some linear spaces; n-normed spaces, generalized 2-inner product spaces and b-Hilbert spaces, where we have proved some basic properties. As well as, we have given some new concept of b-congruence classes in generalized 2-inner product space. In addition, we have introduced definitions of ~self-adjoint operators and ~ positive operators in b-Hilbert space. Moreover, we have showed some of their properties and the relation between them. Finally this research shows that there is a lot of works in this area, especially the studied kinds of operators.
The study of nanofluid has become increasingly last few years. This is mainly due to its many applications in engineering and industry. It plays an imperative role in increasing the heat transport rate than that of base fluid, base fluids say ethylene glycol, ethanol, kerosene oil and water. In this steady, as well as unsteady boundary layer flow of a non-Newtonian nanofluid past a stretched sheet have been investigated. The constitutive equation of an Eyring Powell fluid usually generates higher order derivative term in the momentum equation then equation of Newtonian fluid. The boundary layer governing equations of the firstly transform into non-similar boundary layer equations which are then tackled through numerically using shooting method. Numerically outcomes are presented through graphs and tables for velocity, temperature, and concentration of nanoparticles profiles as well as heat and mass transfer characteristics, namely local skin friction, Nusselt number, local Sherwood number for physical parameters involving in the problems. In this thesis, it is investigated that velocity profile shows a rising behavior due to the stretched parameter.

The diagrams and illustrations, which profess considerable accuracy of detail, are drawn from carefully dissected specimens and treated by computer programs for application of nomenclature of the different structures. This book presents the important features of regional and topographical anatomy of small ruminants in a series of diagrams of detailed dissections. These structures are identified and labelled on the drawings. The nomenclature is based on that of the Nomina Anatomica Veterinaria (2017) with the Latin terminology used for muscles, arteries, veins, lymphatics and nerves, but the English terms used for the most other structures. The atlas is also provided with tables summarized the muscles, arteries and nerves of different regions and structures of the body.

It tries to explain some of the observed differences by examining speakers¿ (Participants¿) speech about the importance of structural accuracy in the language spoken. It also aimed to investigate whether Meknasi Speakers (MSs) and Er-Rissani Speakers (RSs) have different insights towards their language spoken and pronunciation.
Enzymes production is a growing field of biotechnology. Cellulase enzymes are one among of the hydrolytic enzymes capable of hydrolyzing the most abundant organic polymer i.e. "cellulosic material" to produce the smaller sugar components i.e. "glucose, cellobiose and oligomers. The soil fungi have been the best effective microorganisms for cellulase production under solid state fermentation (SSF) technology. Crude cellulase is a group of enzyme consisting of three different of enzymes: endo-1, 4- ¿-D glucanase , exo-1,4- ¿-D glucanase)and ¿- glucosidase. This study involves isolation, identification of some soil fungi and production of crude cellulose enzymes from them by using wheat bran as substrate under solid state fermentation (SSF). The enzyme activity for the different isolated enzymes produced is studied and also study the application of produced enzymes in bioconversion of OOMSW biomass as substrate.
The respiratory muscles are skeletal muscles that power the vital function of pulmonary ventilation. Many COPD patients have impaired respiratory muscle function which has a significant adverse effect on their lives. Impairment of inspiratory muscle function is of particular importance in COPD patients. Two treatment types are currently available for impaired inspiratory muscle function in COPD patients: inspiratory muscle training and surgery. Inspiratory muscle function can improve with specific training. It appears that there are significant gains after inspiratory muscle training Inspiratory muscle function is improved by specific inspiratory muscle training when intensity is monitored and exceeds 20% of maximal inspiratory pressure (PI max).

This thesis proposes a study of social criticism in the major plays of the American dramatist Elmer Rice. It is mainly concerned with showing Rice's prominence as a social dramatist and the reasons for his neglect by his critics. The thesis attempts to prove that Rice's nature as a social critic was directly affected by the political, economic and social conditions which were contemporary to his works. It also shows that Rice's adoption of social criticism in his plays was a means towards diagnosing the ills of the American social life. His Utopian and social attitude was said to have played a very important part in shaping his criticism of the shortcomings of his society. Springing from a deep sense of patriotism, his social criticism has always been seen as a main aspect in his social plays. Furthermore, the thesis has put a great emphasis on the fact that Rice's social criticism was mainly launched against capitalism which reflected his attitude as a Fabian socialist.To emphasize the credibility of this idea, the thesis has given a full analysis of the themes of Rice's major plays. Its target has been an attempt to give an evidence of Rice's valuable social works.
One of the first researchers who suggested the leading role of the immune system in antitumor resistance was Paul Ehrlich - the founder of the humoral theory of immunity . Therefore, the first attempts to study the immune system in malignant tumors were aimed at finding specific tumor antigens that could be used to immunize and obtain specific sera for the diagnosis and treatment of cancer patients. To understand the causes and consequences of cultural diversity in Iraq in light of the recent political developments accompanied with the emergence of problems are not new to the Iraqi community. They coincided the Middle East unrest and the separatist calls of some minorities in Middle Eastern countries, including Iraq, which came because of marginalization, exclusion and violence towards these minorities. It was necessary to conduct a sample survey to find out the opinions and attitudes of the Iraqi individuals toward this issue. The questionnaire was distributed among Iraqi citizens staying in the country and abroad. The questions were chosen to cover the topics related to the extent of national belonging and dealing with others within a culturally diverse society and the degree of interaction of political.
Genetic analysis of isolated DNA from hydatid cysts collected from human and animals was done by Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) to determine genetic variation depending on Random Amplified Polymorphic DNA . In the present study 10 primers have been used, during which the genetic variations were revealed among isolated (extracted DNA) of hydatid cysts which was collected from human and other intermediate hosts . The current results of this study have shown the following : 1 - It was found one primer (OPA ¿ 01) was able to diagnose sample numbered 1 which represent the isolated DNA of liver hydatid cyst which was obtained from human at age group 10 ¿ 20 years old . 2 - The ability of primer OPC ¿ 10 to determine fingerprinting of DNA sample of Sheep liver hydatid cyst . 3 - The ability of primer OPC ¿ 05 to determine fingerprinting of DNA sample of human spleen hydatid cyst which was obtained from human at age group 30 ¿ 40 years old . 4 - The ability of primer OPE ¿ 07 to determine fingerprinting of DNA sample of Goat liver hydatid cyst .
Gram's negative bacteria were the commonest microorganisms;it comprises (60 %). Pseudomonas aeruginosa was common causative agent (19.04%), followed by Staphylococcus aureus (16.7%) and Klebsiella spp.(14.3%). Mixed infection was found in high percent (74%), in which Pseudomonas aeruginosa and other microorganisms were more common . The antibiotic sensitivity pattern showed that Pseudomonas aeruginosa was sensitive to Ciprofloxacin, amoxicillin + clavulanic acid and gentamicin, while other is appeared resistant, Staph. aureus was sensitive to ciprofloxacin, amoxicillin + clavulanic acid, erthomycin, cephalexine and it is resistant to pencillin and ampicillin, klebsiella species were sensitive to ciprofloxacin, amoxicillin + clavulanic acid, gentamicin, while resistant to tetracycline. Geographical distribution, 100 (84%) of patients with CSOM living in urban area, 20(16.7) living in rural area . Smoking and passive smoking, 30(25%)smoker patients, 80(75%) non smoker, while 63(52.5%) patients with CSOM suffering from passive smoking. Distribution of feeding type among infants and children with CSOM 20(16.66%) breast feeding, while 10(8.33%) bottle feeding.
The oil and gas industry is considered to be one of the most dangerous industries. The average occupational fatality rate for employees in the oil and gas industry is seven times higher than the rate of all accidents in other sectors. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is considered to be an essential and integral part of several safety and health management systems. The evaluation of factors that determine the choosing and use of PPE is very crucial. The barriers are found to be a combination from different factors which relate to technical, behaviour, workers' risk perception, knowledge, legality, morality, design, money, time and organisational culture. The key themes identified that awareness of hazard; perceived risk; perceived effectiveness of PPE protection; management enforcement; available time were factors associated with the workers' willingness to wear PPE. Once worn; the discomfort and lack of communication were found the key themes. This book is suitable for Senior Managers, Middle Managers and all other workers in the oil and gas industry. It provides them with description of factors that they need to consider prior purchasing and during the use of PPE.
1- Infantile and child hood groups were recorded a high prevalence 34.7% and 27.5% respectively than adult age group (37.9%). Males were highly affected with AD in age groups ( 1,4,5) , while females predominated male in groups (2,3). In general, the male: female ratio of infection with AD was ( 1:1.29) (P< 0.001). 2- Face and face & neck were the commonest sites of predilection of AD lesions ( 33.1 % and 20%) respectively . 3- A high correlations between family and personal histories were shown with AD. 4- Dry type of skin , sub acute pattern of disease course, and mild to severe degree of severity were predominant forms in AD patients. 5- The values of Hb, RBCs count and basophiles of AD patients were under the normal or control means , while values of ESR, WBCs count , lymphocytes count , eosinophiles and platelets count were higher than normal means . On other hands , values of differential neutrophils , lymphocytes and monocytes were within normal means (P< 0.001) . 6- The study showed a high significant elevation of various types of cluster of differentiation (CD): ( CD3 ,CD4 , CD8 , CD19 ) .Also , all means of concentration of immunoglobulin (Ig) ( IgA, IgG , IgM

Communication cannot happen effectively without Machine-Translation because they can be found anytime and everywhere. There is a number of research that has developed Machine-Translations and provides somehow precise translations between many languages and the English. However, translation to the Arabic language hasn¿t been considered to give us a precise translation yet. As a result, there¿s a necessity to enable the users to get a more corrected translation from and to the Arabic language than many of the previous works. Therefore, the aim of this work is to extend the Judge Method model of Arabic-English machine translation to provide a translation based on ontology and to illustrate its work. To evaluate this model, a sample dataset was established to be used for testing purposes. The used way to evaluate NAN final is the cosine similarity which can be used to evaluate the similarity between two texts after translation or summarization. The angle of similarity of NAN translation with human translation was approximately equals to 10.7¿. Accordingly to that, NAN¿s angles is the smallest, better and corrector than Google¿s and Bing¿s.

There are several elements that lead to abortion all associated with human reproduction. Among the most important factors are genetic and uterine abnormalities, immunological dysfunctions and endocrine, environmental pollutants, infectious agents, psychogenetic factors and endometriosis. Moreover, Stress, pollutants, smoking etc. also escalate the risk of miscarriage. The ability of the fetus to withstand infectious organisms is limited and the immune system is unable to preclude the dissemination of infectious organisms to various tissues, therefore, some maternal infections, particularly during the early gestation, can cause fetal loss or malformations. TORCH is a term used to describe Toxoplasmosis, Cytomegalovirus infection, Rubella virus and Herpes Simplex virus infection. The aforementioned collections of infections represent the main risks of critical congenital infection throughout pregnancy, which could eventually lead to fetal harm or further anomalies. The infection sometimes may be so serious that it could lead to grave damage to the fetus more than the mother in most cases.
This dissertation aims to analyze the structure of spoken discourse in literary texts. It seeks to provide a linguistic analysis of the dramatic language of the American dramatist Eugene O'Neill in his two plays: The Hairy Ape (1922) and Long Day's Journey into Night (1956), The primary concern is to study the interactional aspects of some lexico-grammatical forms that mark the structure of the conversational exchanges between the characters in the two plays. The verbal and non-verbal interactions are analyzed as well in order to highlight the coherence of the dialogue. In addition, the dissertation tries to explore the interactional aspects of dramatic discourse to show in what way they can be studied for interpreting the meanings and thematic issues implicit in the conversational exchanges of a dialogue.

The corrosion of pipelines' coatings is one of the main problems in oil and gas industries for which a large amount of money is spent each year. Coating is the first defense line in front of a corrosive environment in which pipes have been buried. Good function of coating depends on its adhesiveness rate to the metal surface. Initial adhesiveness and its durability in the contact conditions are among those factors that enhance coating efficiency in long term. The rate of Initial adhesiveness has a high relationship with coating movement and surface wetness by this movement in the course of applying the coating and also with cleanliness and preparedness of pipe surface. Corrosion in oil and gas wells has the electrochemical mechanism, When the system reaches a temperature below the dew point, moisture is converted to liquid and many droplets occurs on the pipe's wall. In the electrochemical reaction, water plays role of the electrolyte. In this book we propose and teach some way to decrease corrosion in oil and gas industries.
The unprecedented demand for optical network capacity has fueled the development of long-haul optical network systems which employ wavelength-division multiplexing(WDM) to achieve tremendous capacities. Such systems transport tens to hundreds of wavelengths per fiber ,with each wavelength modulated at 10 Gb /s or more [1].The switching burden in such systems has been laid almost entirely on electronics. In every switching node, optical signals are converted to electrical signals (O-E conversion), buffered electronically, and subsequently forwarded to their next hop after being converted to optical form again (E-O conversion).
This study investigates courtesy in American political interviews through three speech acts, namely, compliment, praising and thanking. The data of the study is represented by four American political interviews by adopting Searle's (1969) model for analysis the speech acts, the extracts are taken from American political interviewees' speech that contains courteous expressions .The total number of the extracts is fourteen.

The study area is suffering from many environmental pollution problems, for many reasons, and this study attempts to evaluate it by collecting water, soil, and plants samples, to analyze them in the laboratories to detect the concentration of heavy metals and other parameters, which may cause any contamination. The results that presented in this study is the only database available for the specification of heavy metals in soil, water, and plant samples of this study area, which will certainly help in contributing to effective monitoring of environmental quality. Also, it will provide information about present levels of heavy metals in the studied area for the post studies. The study results presented here may assist in understanding the potential influence of the contaminants on designing a more cost-effective remediation plan for contaminated water or soil.
Network coding is a technique where, the intermediate nodes of the network, instead of simply forwarding the information packets they receive, take several packets and combine them together in one packet for transmission. This can be used to obtain the maximum possible information flow in a network. Network coding is implemented in different scenarios; uni-casting, multi-casting and broadcasting. In multicast networks, network coding has proved to be better than the normal routing algorithms in different aspects as it increases the throughput and reduces the delay.
