There no any doubt that, the science of electric machinery is one of the necessary important sciences for the undergraduate students in electrical engineering and in mechanical engineering as well. This book "Single Phase & Special Electric Machinery" covers single-phase and most of special electric machines. Single phase motors are those to be fed from single-phase supply. Although they are less efficient when compared to 3-phase motors, they are the most familiar in use for home appliances, shops, offices etc. This is because 3-phase power was originally generated and distributed for lighting only; millions of homes were given single phase supply. Even where 3-phase mains are present, single-phase supply may be obtained from it by using one of the three lines and the neutral. On the other hand, special electric machines are those used to perform special domestic. Some of them machines find applications in computer peripheral equipment or in process control systems whereas others can be used in devices such as home appliances.

Motion detection and tracking are an important technique in image processing with extensive applications in medicine, remote sensing, and various fields, with increasing popularity in surveillance systems, military applications, and healthcare, for example. Detection algorithms depending on the application. And in the selection of the technique required in most cases, which depends on the application and the image in question rather than fragmentation of the image.
An R-module M is called fully dual stable, if N is contained in Ker f, for every submodule N of M and any homomorphism f of M into M/N. This new concept is dual to full stability and the two concepts are stronger than duo property. Fully dual stable modules stands strictly between duo and multiplication modules. In the class of projective modules, the three concepts coincide. In the class of quasi-projective modules duo and full dual stability coincide. Under certain conditions fully dual stable modules are quasi-projective but not in general. Several properties and characterization have been given for full dual stability. The concept of full dual stability, in fact, depends on submodules and homomorphisms. The researcher considers that some generalizations based on their submodules and others based on their homomorphisms. Maximal and minimal dual stable modules are generalizations of the new concept by modifying the condition on maximal and minimal submodule respectively. Fully pseudo dual stable module is another generalization by modifying the condition on the homomorphism.
Infertility has threatened many couples to continue married life. Traditional semen analysis conducted in laboratories is inadequate to judge and correct diagnosis of infertility patients. Determination of levels of hormones, vitamins and antioxidants in men Men infertility gives the correct and clear picture in the diagnosis of infertility in men who are sterile. So this book dealt with a complete thesis for the diagnosis of patients with semen Asthenospermia .

Hristov-Taylor antenna has been designed at 10 GHz without and with the dielectric strips. Experimental measurements and theoretical calculations have been made. The results have shown improved characteristics when using the dielectric strips as a single antenna only. Three proposed designs of the long backfire antenna are presented at 10 GHz with different dimensions and lengths. Hristov and three proposed antennas have been designed in linear array with uniform and non uniform amplitude distributions for even and odd numbers of the elements. The resulting characteristics have been improved for the three proposed designs when using the dielectric strips as a single and linear array antenna.

Triage is one of the most important and challenging tasks of the emergency department (ED). Therefore triage needs to be applied in all ED. An effective triage system classifies patients into groups according to acuity of illness or injury and ensure that the patients with life threatening illness or injury receive immediate intervention. Triage is the first pathway to competency so improving competence of newly graduate nurses is a major challenge. This book is guide for newly graduate nurses, junior nurse, educators, and anyone working in the emergency department for improving the competencies, knowledge and skills, or to implement triage training program to achieve highly qualified care. The book includes handouts, assessments, tools, training program and a reference to help you rapidly triage patients with urgent, life threatening conditions and determine the most appropriate treatment area for every patients presenting to the ED.
In this research we try to recommended policy and planning strategies for climate change management. We are also investigating natural resources conservation and tourism sustainable development. Knowledge of ecotourism or nature tourism is regarded as one of the most attractive and at the same time the most profitable science related to natural resources and the environment, which has been highly regarded as a tool for increasing the national income of less industrialized countries. Tourism in the national and global scope (tourism) has grown more than other parts of the industry in order to access natural areas, and ecotourism or responsible tourism in nature as a part of this market has grown from 10% to 30%.Well-designed, well-planned tourism can provide additional benefits for indigenous communities and local economies while preserving and managing optimal nature. According to the definition of ecotourism association, nature tourism is a purpose-oriented journey to nature to understand the natural and cultural history of the environment by avoiding changes in ecosystems and environmental degradation.
Nowadays, the tracing of Nano materials in every large or small part of the industry and process is clearly evident and expanding. Laboratory assemblies, chemical industries, manufacturing processes, and the oil and gas industry have also come up with Nanotechnology over the last few years. In this project, it has been decided that application of Nano-silica to add to the formulation of cement slurry has been tested and analyzed to evaluate its effect on conventional properties and in particular its effect on reducing infiltration of gas of formation into the slurry. It is based on the fact that the scope or scope for the use and addition of Nano-materials to the composition of cement slurry that is currently in use, is identified and extracted, which maintains or enhances all previously approved conditions and has a positive impact on the reduction of immigration take a year therefore, at first, the conventional cement is designed and all the necessary properties are proved, then adding different percentages of Nano-scale materials is tested. In these experiments, the optimal percentage for the application of Nano-scale materials (if possible) is determined.
Three phase induction motor is one of ac machines family. It converts the ac electrical power input into a mechanical power output. The conversion process takes place through the rotating magnetic field. Its theory of operation is based on the mutual electromagnetic induction between the primary circuit and secondary circuit. Three-phase induction motors are the most widely used electric motors in industry. When fed from constant voltage constant frequency they run at nearly constant speed from no-load to full-load. 3-phase induction motors are simple, rugged, low-priced, easy to maintain and can be manufactured with characteristics to suit most industrial requirements. Nowadays, with the development of power semiconductors, induction motors may be considered as serious rivals to dc motors in many speed control systems.
In this thesis, the total fusion cross section sF, the fusion barrier distribution DF and the fusion probability PF, for the reactions 40Ca+44Ca, 40Ar+110Pd, 40Ca+194Pt, 46Ti+46Ti, 48Ti+60Ni, 48Ca+238U, 58Ni+54Fe, 58Ni+58Ni, 81Br+104Ru, 86kr+76Ge, 86kr+100Mo, 124Sn+96Zr, 132Sn+48Ca and 134Te+40Ca has been studied. The semiclassical approach employed in the present study is based on the theory of Alder andWinther (AW) which was originally proposed to treat the Coulomb excitation of nuclei which is called Continuum-Discretized Coupled Channels (CDCC) method. The semiclassical approach uses the Wentzel, Kramers and Brillouin (WKB) approximation to treat the classical fusion probability, whereas that the intrinsic motion is handled as a time-dependent Quantum Mechanics. To sustain our semiclassical calculations and to test its success or shortfall, we had performed full quantum mechanical calculations using the well-known CCFULL code which is used to study the fusion reactions for heavy ions. The calculations for both semiclassical and full quantum mechanical have been performed in the case of no-coupling and in the case of coupling effect included.
Resveratrol as a phyto-estrogenic polyphenolic compound extracted from red grapes, has a calorie restriction effect on colorectal cancer cells. It stimulates the metabolic re-programming of cells from the anaerobic glycolysis into oxidative respiration. So that it is called to be a glucose deprivation mimic drug with a chemo- preventive and chemo- therapeutic effects. The calorie restriction effect of resveratrol is the deriving force for the enhanced cytotoxicity and apoptosis and the reduced angiogeneis of colorectal cancer cells.

The urinary bladder cancer (UBC ) are most common type of cancer of the urinary tract. It is regarded as the second and the fourth most common cancer types for males in Iraq and in the United State of America (USA) respectively and as tenth and eleventh most common cancer types for females in both Iraq and USA respectively. HER2/neu protein is glycoprotein produced by HER2 gene which lies in 17q21 (long arm of chromosome 17). This glycoprotein is normally found in lung, breast, urinary bladder, prostate and stomach, and its cytoplasmic portion has enzymatic function (tyrosine kinase activity). This receptor is responsible for the cell survival, normal cell growing and inhibition of apoptosis. HER2/neu protein overexpression is measured by IHC, but when the result of IHC is equivocal to HER2/neu protein (+ 2), Then, HER2 gene amplification is measured by using an accurate and more practical CISH method Several clinical trials are currently investigating the benefit of HER2-targeted therapy in urothelial bladder cancer. Patients with HER2 amplified UBC could potentially profit from these therapies.
The first research investigates ideological structures of polarized discourse coded in the reports of two online news websites: egyptindependent and Ikhwanweb. . The study concludes with a discussion of how both websites establish a dichotomy of 'we' versus 'them'. In addition, the reports of each website marginalize the other through what is termed as ' Absent News'. The second research compares and contrasts the verbal systems of locals and immigrants using a 'prototypical pidgin' i.e. Gulf Pidgin Arabic.. The process of mimicking works both ways between locals and immigrants.

The poetry of Sylvia Plath (1932¿1963) attracts the attention of both readers and critics by her fabulous poetic craft which she wields to iconize her own embittered personal experiences. Hence, she becomes directly reputable after her premature death in February 11, 1963, for its order, harmony, organic unity, carefully employed devices and constant thematic implications.1 Plath, then, remains one of the well-known poets whose poetic works are critically examined and new phases of meanings and inspirations are innovatively concluded. Moreover, her poetic craft stems from her whirlwind relationships with her family members, in addition to some other harsh events such as refusals at academic courses, miscarriage and the rejection of publishing some of her poems and short stories. Under such heartbreaking pressures, Plath realizes that she has a quest for her true self that she has lost under such pressures.
