This book, under construction over the past fifty years, uses history and fiction to connect the dots of known and unknown periods in the development of the human race. It presumes that God lives on a heavenly planet (Xeros) somewhere in our vast universe, that all humans begin at Level 3 and have the opportunity to move up to Level 2 (Angels) and then to Level 1 (Archangels), that He is colonizing planets throughout this universe, and that a battle between God and Satan (good v. evil) permeates His every decision. The book focus is on planet earth, the use of a natural disaster to exterminate the dinosaurs, the story of Adam and Eve and the process of populating planet earth, the story of Noah and the great flood, and the story of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, who was sent to save mankind. The book then explains the development of Christianity, the hidden story of the Nephilim, the Rapture and Revelation, Armageddon, the thousand year reign, and the new Heaven and the new Earth. In summary, The Study offers a message to the reader-that each Level 3 person makes choices every day, that each human being is so helpless without God''s protection, that the end of life on planet earth is very close, and that one must believe in Jesus Christ to achieve life everlasting.

This book is dedicated to colorists, people who enjoy coloring as others enjoy crochet or quilt making or golf. Coloring is easy, distracting; mind-soothing and stress relieving. Perhaps a reason they call art therapy is because of the magic that happens when you apply your first color. Color until you smile. Hold the book at arm''s length and from all directions, follow your eye. Let your mind relax and enjoy watching the magic unfold. Work through the issues of the day and the day ahead while coloring in front of the TV or listening to music. It''s a great way to unwind in that quiet hours after the kids are in bed and your beloved is watching TV, and it''s your time to relax. The beauty of abstract art is that it changes with every stroke and the fluidity of the process is mesmerizing. Coloring becomes a sanctuary for reflection, meditation and prayer.Colored drawing pencils work very well with these drawings, but they are yours now, to color or paint as you wish, with this promise: you cannot make a mistake because this is now your work. Lynn draws each piece to be eye catching from any direction, but it is your coloring that really makes your picture Wall Worthy. Peace to all. Tips: all pencils from one box will play well together in a drawing and orange fixes everything!

  • - The Zimmermann Affair and The Great Southwestern War of 1917
    by John Eric Vining
    £12.49

On both sides of the turn of the twentieth century, there emerged a style of writing that was a distant kin to the modern historical novel. It was known as Les Guerres Imaginaires, which can basically be translated into "The Imaginary War." It was a literary device used to tell how future wars might occur and be fought. This type of novel was written by military authors who sought to mold and enhance their foresight with intricate historical and political analyses. Examples of this genre include "The Battle of Dorking," a 1871 short story in Blackwood''s Magazine by Sir George Tomkyns Chesney; The Great Naval War of 1887, written in 1886 by Sir William Laird Clowes and Commander Charles N. Robinson; The Great War of 189-, A Forecast, by Rear Admiral Philip Colomb, written in 1893; The War Inevitable (1908), by Alan H. Burgoyne; The Valor of Ignorance (1909), by Homer Lea; and two great novels of the 1920s, Sea Power in the Pacific (1920) and The Great Pacific War (1925), by Hector Bywater. John Eric Vining resurrects a mirror image of this genre to look back into history and explore what might have happened if Mexico had taken Germany''s 1917 Zimmermann Telegram seriously and attempted to recapture the American Southwest at the height of World War I. While this is fantastically unbelievable at first glance, a further analysis is warranted. What you might find is that not only was a Mexican invasion of the American Southwest quite possible in 1917, the real surprise is that it did not happen in the actual history of World War I!Take the plunge and see for yourself if it might have been possible for the United States and Mexico to have fought the Great Southwestern War of 1917.

  • - Flying Solo After Sixty
    by Pamela Hull
    £12.49

What happens when, long-partnered and no longer youthful, we are suddenly left alone and uncoupled? Here is a book that embraces the will, the spirit of such a challenge. Here are stories of how an older man or woman may avoid a barren middle age. Of how to imbue our later years with heft, meaning and delight, self-renewal thick with surprise and discovery. Here are concerns that grievously affect our burgeoning aging community as most of us over 70 now live alone, matters that resonate as well for retired couples. Say Yes! is neither guide nor manual. Rather, it is the narrator's intimate recountings of loss and aloneness. But also possibilities for a thrilling, reconfigured reality, an abundance of bountiful awakenings for wishful readers who may become heartened and emboldened. Do we latch on? Or do we accept a conventional stasis, a sedate conformity. A digging in from fear of the untried. The author is 60 when her husband of 36 years dies of pancreatic cancer. Bereft, an opportunity arises. She takes an impulsive trip to Florence, Italy. From this, her life catapults beyond the mundane as she travels by herself to other European cities, writes a book, moves to New York. Enriched by strangers, she finds celebration in being alone, enters into passions old and new with verve and grit. Standing firm is her staunch refusal to accept a life of marking time devoid of vigorous well-being. Why move beyond what comfortably suits? To vanquish doubt, dread, despair. To savor the largesse of our world in adventurous new ways. How does one begin? Say Yes!

  • - Tools to Help Leaders Make Strategic Choices
    by Tom Anderes
    £11.49

Higher education leaders and their teams should always seek to add value to their decision-making processes. Planning, Policy, and Politics in Higher Education: Tools to Help Leaders Make Strategic Choices provides a strategic decision-making model and specific tools to help maximize the opportunities for making successful choices. The model was introduced by Dr. Anderes in the book Navigating Through Turbulent Times: Applying a System and University Strategic Decision Making Model. It is built on the use of new tools, including a planning and assessment framework, future scans, an issue analysis inventory, and decision matrix. The new tools in combination with a strong strategic planning process, transparency for all constituencies, and high quality information focused on the future and globally gives leaders the greatest opportunity to make thoughtful choices aligned with their primary goals.   The strategic decision-making model consists of six components: 1) Creating an organizational mentality committed to strategic thinking, 2) maximizing the amount of high quality historical data and information for analyses to inform decision makers, 3) routinizing the use of globalized scans of the future integrated with other decision-making information, 4) supporting ongoing strategic planning processes, 5) ensuring transparency to incorporate all key constituencies in planning, and 6) implementing a planning and assessment framework that allows leaders to weigh and filter information into thoughtfully constructed strategic alternatives and action plans. The success of the model is based on the integration of all components, with strategic thinking permeating all aspects of decision making.   Board, system, and university leaders and their teams will benefit from the use of the strategic decision-making model in crafting well-informed choices. They will have greater confidence in supporting those choices to the myriad internal and external constituencies they serve. The planning outcomes will be derived from a set of new and expanded resources that provide greater organizational certainty in the final choices. The certainty in the choices will be based on the exhaustive use of the tools in translating strategies into key outcomes and the increased capacity to measure success in meeting board and institutional goals.

From the very first scream we heard from the very first baby squirrel we found, we became hooked on helping this little abandoned creature of God.Then there were many more to come, each one with their own personality, each one cuter than the other. However, Rocky, being the first one we acquired, became Louie''s favorite. They went everywhere in the yard together. Wherever Louie went, it was certain that Rocky was on his shoulder hitching a free ride. When she would get sleepy, she would climb down to his pocket and she stayed there until she woke up. When she would see him in the morning she would dance and make sounds for him to come get her. When her brother showed up two days later she didn''t mind sharing Louie with him. They were very close and were very happy to be together again.Since Louie preferred to Rocky to Beau, I gladly fill in to give him attention. There were many more after those two litte ones that we took in and raised, watching them grow and they enjoyed being with us.This is just a glimpse of what is in store for you as you too, will get hooked on reading about the nine squirrels that passed through our lives back in 2005 to 2012.
